Our condominium is newly renovated and designer decorated. It is a Non-Smoking Unit complete with central A/C with individually controlled zones in each bedroom, Ceiling Fans, Full Size Washer and Dryer, three Color TVs with Cable, DVD,CD/Cassette, Stereo and IPod Dock.
Fully equipped upgraded kitchen provides halogen stove top, convection oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, ice maker, on demand hot water dispenser, disposal, blender, coffee maker and microwave. Kitchen linens and soaps are provided free of charge.
For additional sleeping accommodations, the condominium is equipped with two twin size “aero” beds. All linens and bath towels, iron and ironing board are provided. Hair dryers are offered in both bathrooms. Local calls are free of charge.
Swim, Snorkel, Surf, Windsurf, Kayak, Sail, Whale Watch, Golf, Tennis . . . have it all. World Class Champion Golf Courses abound on Maui and many of the best are minutes from your door. Our condominium is conveniently located for all your vacation needs.

Why the Owner Chose Mahana
After several years of visiting and exploring six of Hawaii's incredible islands our decision was clear. Without a doubt, MAUI is the place!! All of our requirements... and more are right here. Kaanapali and Lahaina have miles of beautiful golden sand uncrowded beaches... great for swimming and body surfing, fantastic snorkeling at Black Rock and Kapalua, gorgeous hiking trails in the West Maui mountains and gourmet restaurants and night life spots all over the Island... but especially in Lahaina nestled amongst its many boutiques and art galleries.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Once the decision was made, our biggest requirement was that wherever we chose had to be Ocean Front and have an Ocean View from both the Living Room AND Master Bedroom. Our condo at the Mahana offers this and more. The beach is soft, golden sand which stretches for miles. Our favorite morning and sunset walk is to head south for the mile stroll to Black Rock. For those of you who do not want the sand in your shoes, there is now a newly constructed board walk which starts adjacent to our building and runs all the way to Black Rock. For the adventurous... you can walk all the way to Whalers Village and beyond. Our Resort offers a beautiful heated pool and jacuzzi hot tub overlooking the ocean, a barbeque area with several grills and tables poolside, tennis courts, concierge service (which can help you make reservations on all the exciting whale watching/snorkel trips, Haleakala Volcano, Hana tours and more), an ocean side shuffleboard court and gourmet coffee/juice cart in the lobby.
Walking along Kaanapali Beach to Black Rock is our favorite morning and sunset stroll. This is also a popular snorkel spot.
This is one of our favorite spots to find fresh fish and veggies. You will also find a bakery here as well.
Both of these beaches were voted in top 10 World's most beautiful by Conde Nast and The Travel Channel. These are two of our most favorite spots for snorkeling and body surfing
This popular destination has wonderful ocean front restaurants, high name boutiques and shopping.

So we set out to discover each Island... always with the thought...Would this be the place to spend our retirement years?? We wanted an Island with fabulous uncrowded beaches, gourmet restaurants, fantastic hiking, great snorkeling and diving opportunities and high on our list...night life venues that offer romantic dancing or places we could sit relaxing in a cozy spot overlooking the ocean while listening to great music.

This 'corner unit' is nothing short of exceptional through and by value, location, design, cleanliness, furnishings, spaciousness and, of course, has gorgeous "on the ocean" scenery! The pictures selected/shown are true and actual; in fact at first glance we were wondering how Patty got our pictures! The constant beauty (and sounds) of the pacific at/on the 6th floor level where is unit is situated were certainly a large part of our Maui experience (our 2nd visit). The fully equipped condo had everything we had hoped for and went beyond our expectations. The personal contact by the owner shortly after our arrival was just another 'touch of class'; the second call (from the owners) is just another example of how caring they are about their 'visitors'!! We configured the 2nd large separate bedroom into another King Size bed (two senior couples travelling together) - both bedrooms have their own ensuites; the beds were very comfortable!! The oversized balcony of this unit had new furnishings (Nov. '07) and this part of the condo was a constant source of entertainment and relaxation - we always ate our breakfast and "snacks" on this extra wide balcony. Patty and Rick's condo also hosts a "guest book" --- take time to review it BEFORE venturing out --- there are thoughtful comments and recommendations. Although the pool is not huge, it is entirely refurbished, well maintained, not noisey and very convenient - in fact we could look down at the pool too! The Maui properties in the area are also 1st class -- meaning they are in keeping with this unit and the building it is 'housed'. We will return to The Mahana --- specifically to Patty and Ricks' unit --- and have recommended this condo to our family for their upcoming Maui experience. We used Island Air (great flight and staff) for our inand landed at Kapalua (West Maui) airport; The Mahana is 5 minutes from this airport, the car rental agencies are 6 minutes away --- it couldn't have been better. The local grocery store is basically across the street. As to shopping - naturally you will want to rent a car, Maui is very easy to get around!! Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, People with Disabilities, Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Girls Getaway, Romantic Getaway, and Sightseeing"

We visited this winter on a business/pleasure trip. The accomodations were amazing, and absolutely as advertised. I was able to prepare gourmet meals in the comfort of our suite, and had plenty of utensils/pots/pans/etc. to do so. The property was clean and quiet; the atmosphere pleasant and peacefull. The owners are helpful and go above and beyond the call to make sure you are comfortable and settled. They do this, however, without being at all intrusive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My friend and I stayed for one week in this condo. The condo is really lovely, decorated with soothing colors making it easy to relax. The lani is so big and inviting with a breathtaking view of the ocean. We went to the pool every morning and that area is very well kept. It's convenient location is very close to Lahana and other shopping and fun. If you have not made any excursions on line, the concierge is very knowledgable and helpful. We look forward to returning to this condo soon.

My family and I just returned from a one week stay at the beautiful condo at Mahana (summer 2010). It's everything and more! The pictures do not do justice to the incredible view we had on the 6th floor. It truly is ocean front and has a great view overlooking the pool and jacuzzi. The property is very centrally located in Kaanapali with convenient markets closeby. Patty is a wonderful hostess and ensured we had everything we needed. Her list of recommended shopping, eating, adventures, etc. came in very handy. We'll be back for another stay!!!

We found our stay to be an absolutely wonderful time! Let me explain. We wanted a very nice, well equipped and spacious condo, with fabulous views and conveniently located. This condo is all of that and more. There were 2 drawbacks noted by my crew, but in our case they didn't matter a whit. The first drawback was that the grounds are not what the Hyatt Kaanapali has that is right down the beach. There is a nice pool and hot tub at the condos, but there is not acres of heavily landscaped grounds, etc. That didn't matter to us as we were there to see Maui, not just some hotel's grounds, and we did spend an afternoon with friends at the Hyatt who told us they paid a zillion bucks and essentially had a view of a construction site, having been told their room had Ocean View. Right. They'd have killed to have had our view and lenai. Also the beach that is directly in front of the condo is narrow and has some kelp in the water. That too didn't matter because 25 feet down the beach starts a fabulous beach all the way to Black Rock and it is all open to the public. So go to this condo. Sit on the lenai and sip coffee in the morning as the surf 6 floors below makes music and the day gradually dawns and then watch the sunset over pina coladas in the evening (there is even a blender in the kitchen). Get the book Maui Revealed and go get in your car and see this magnificent island, knowing you'll return to a wonderful condo at the end of a day's exploration. The arrangements were wonderful , the condo is tremendously equipped (including the kitchen which is a rarity) and it is easy to find close in parking. Kinda challenging to find the first time, but a snap after that. We'd go again in a heartbeat.

From the time I first contacted the owners Patty and Rick by telephone inquiring about their condo to the time my wife and I arrived back home after our vacation nothing could have been easier and simpler than working with Patty. She checked with us after our arrival to insure we arrived safely and to make sure everything was as expected. Patty again checked with is after we returned home to thank us and again to ensure everything was fine. You will not find a finer person to work with. As for the condo itself, simply outstanding. The huge lanai (and I mean huge), to the views of the ocean and the pool, this unit is fantastic. The unit is a 2 BR 2B corner unit so you have a wider view of the ocean, pool and surrounding terrain. Every item you would expect in your home is here for your use. You name it and Patty and Rick have supplied it. If you are in the market to rent a condo on Maui, I highly recommend you contact Patty and Rick and inquire about their condo. Patty Cassidy was delightful to work with and three of us enjoyed a great two weeks at Mahana at the end of February, 2010. The property was completely furnished and the amenities of the condo were well maintained. Beaches on this part of Maui are exceptional. Many excellent snorkeling venues and first rate whale watching at this time of the year. We ventured out from this location to tour by car, ride a guided tour to Hana and return, play golf and visit many exceptional restaurants. We recommend a rental car for this purpose, and the best deal I found was through AAA, using my membership.

This was our second vacation in Mahana #611 and if we return to Maui again, would plan to do a third vacation in this unit!! It is a perfect location, beautifully appointed, fully stocked...couldn't ask for more. The lania was the most popular spot, of course, with the sliding doors left open most of the time...music to our ears....absolutely wonderful!! The owners are by far the most caring and interested in our vacation enjoyment as any we've experienced. This is high on our recommended list -- ENJOY!!
