Weddings & Relaxation, reserve this Main House ( sleeps 6) with adjoining cottage (sleeps 4) in the Historic Village of Yellow Springs. Together (when available) they can accommodate 10 guests for weddings or other occasions in the adjoining historic village. Walk paths and explore buildings frequented by George Washington and later used for mineral baths and as a summer campus for the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts. Dine in local 5 star restaurants and bistros before visiting nearby Anselma Grist Mill or world-famous Longwood Gardens. These are but a few of the nationally renowned local sites. Virtually all things of man or nature can be had within a one hour drive of this 1720’s village.

We rented this property for 5 weeks over Thanksgiving and Christmas 2013. The owner was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. He answered all email questions promptly. Upon arrival, he checked to make sure everything was in order. We were the first guests for this property and the owner eagerly solicited our ideas for any improvements, etc. and promptly responded to our suggestions. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. The location provides for a very safe and tranquil experience and is the perfect place for enjoying most any kind of activity. The property is very well equipped. When you do not want to cook, it is located within minutes of both casual and fine dining (try Ron's School House Restaurant and Bar on Rte. 113 (great cheese steaks, "ovals" and pasta dishes) and be sure to visit Eagle Tavern on Rte. 100 for a delicious dinner (steaks and seafood). You can't beat the breakfast at The Lions Share Diner on Rte. 100. We have already told our friends who are traveling to the area in Summer 2014 about it and we plan to return at some point ourselves.
