Our stay at this condo was very nice. We loved Hilton Head and especially Palmeto Dunes. The condo was lovely, comfortable and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We were however very disappointed about the construction going on in the building next to us. The entire building was under construction which began every morning at 7:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. There was no sleeping late due to the noise and we could not sit on the balcony to enjoy the beautiful weather and ocean views. I was so looking forward to morning tea on the balcony but the noise was just too unbearable. We couldn't even have the sliders open for fresh air due to the noise level. I am not sure if the owners were aware that this construction was taking place but, if they did, I sure would have appreciated the heads up. We would not have selected this location if we had known about the construction. I also was disappointed that our cell phone and texting ability were down when in the building. The only time we could access service was when we pulled out of Barrinton Court, a real inconvenience. Without these two complaints, everything else was great. The pool, the beach, and the convienences of so many things near by.

Owner response:We are very disappointed that nearby construction was going on in an adjacant building and that it caused noise that effected our renter's ability to enjoy relaxation on the balcony. We are only made aware of planned renovations that are going to be done at our own Barrington complex. When we are made aware of such occasions we take the appropriate steps to insure that our guests are made well aware of possible disruptions to a beach holiday. As a Verizon wireless customer I have not had an issue with wireless service while in the condo.

An Excellent Condo!

My wife, 2 year old son, 4 month old daughter, and I stayed in this condo for a week in September 2011. There are not enough positive things that can be said about the condo unit itself. The furnishings and decor are tastefully executed. The floor-plan of the condo is a huge plus for families. This is due to the fact the second bedroom and corresponding full bathroom can be separated from the rest of the unit via a pocket door. The grounds of the Barrington complex are topnotch by every measure. The under complex parking is very convenient with easy access to an elevator. The pool is fantastic. And the walk to the beach is short. The owners are also very accommodating and easy to work with. I would, without hesitation, rent this condo from Debbie again in the future.

My family and I just returned from a wonderful week in Hilton Head. Barrington 216 has been the best condo we have stayed in. It is beautifully decorated with a fantastic view. The two full bathrooms with an extra vanity and sink in the Master bedroom made getting ready to go to dinner a breeze. (We have two teenage daughters) The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.

Could not have asked for a better setting. Great view of the ocean, easy access to shops and restaurants and many golf courses - on and off Island. The condo was well appointed, very clean. Decor was modern and was reflective of the photos provided in the listing. I have been going to Hilton Head for years and I think this is the best location yet and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thank you for making our vacation memorable.

This condo has a great view of the ocean with nice balcony furniture. It also has updated appliances. The bedrooms are located strategically for privacy from each other. The property is clean and beach friendly. Palmetto Dunes accommodates restaurants and travel/convenient stores.

Stayed in this condo in October and it's just lovely ! New furniture in the living room was very comfy and we enjoyed all of the furnishings and amenities. A great value and a great unit. We miss our cocktails and cards on the balcony every afternoon!
