Located in Saint Martin's exclusive residential district, Les Terres Basses, this magnificent spacious villa has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, porch, dining room, kitchen, TV room, patio, swimming pool with deck and a gazebo. This elegant West Indian style home built in a U-shape around a flowered interior courtyard overlooks the Caribbean Sea with views of the islands of Saba and St. Eustatius and in the foreground La Samanna Hotel and the Baie Longue Beach area. The marble floored house features a tasteful blend of antique and modern furniture. The spacious living room has a baby grand Steinway piano and opens up to the terrace through a 24 ft. roll away glass sliding doors. All three bedrooms have original antique four poster beds, all king size, and en-suite bathrooms. The bedrooms have split system air conditioning units with optional use of ceiling fans. Separate to the living room, there is a TV room with satellite TV and over 100 channels, DVD and Stereo. Both Baie Longue and Plum Bay Beach, two of St. Martin's finest beaches are within walking distance. Baie Rouge Beach, Cupecoy Beach and Mullet Bay Beach are just minutes away.

The villa is in a residential area close to two beautiful white sand beaches, Plum Bay and Long Bay (Baie au Prunes and Baie Longue). The private roads in this neighbourhood are ideal for jogging and biking, you will see joggers and folks walking these roads every morning and evening. There are several restaurants a short drive away: just over the border on the Dutch side you have Porto Cupecoy with restaurants and shopping and just next door the Blue Mall that just opened its doors. Down the road from that you have Atlantis Casino and seven restaurants, just before reaching Mullet Bay Golf Course. Then you reach Maho Resort with its Casino Royale, many restaurants and Maho Beach where the planes land (famously) right over the beach. Just down the road on the French side, Nettle Bay beach is under ten minutes drive, the Sand restaurant (which I love) and Dreams beach are very nice for lunch and dinner. Marigot, the capital of the French side is a short drive away. Grand Case is about a half hour away, with many fine french restaurants. In Marigot you can catch the ferries for Anguilla (18 min. away, and I highly recommend a day trip.) and St. Barths (a little over an hour away, also worth a visit.) Climb the Fort Hill and visit Fort Louis, where the French fought battles against the British, the view from up there is spectacular. Lottery Farm, with its zip lining, tree lounge and nature walks, is between Marigot and Grand Case. Pinel island, located in the middle of our nature reserve and only a five minute ferry ride from Cul de Sac, where you park your car, is also highly recommended. And just down the road again you find Orient Bay, perhaps our most famous beach with lots of restaurants and water sports (and a nude beach). Keep driving and find Le Galion Beach, where you can go kite surfing, wind surfing or visit the Butterfly Farm. Deep sea fishing, sailing, scuba diving, jet skiing, kayaking, there is so much to do on this little island.
St. Martin is truly full of attractions and activities and you can never be bored.
