MULLINS BAY HOUSE is a stylish, spacious family house in beautiful gardens with a large pool just 4 minutes walk from Mullins beach. - - - VERY FLEXIBLE self catering accommodation. The house is available in a 3 or 4 bedroom format. There is also a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment which interconnects if required - offering a total of 6 bedrooms 5 modern bathrooms, sleeping up to 14.
- - - AN ACRE OF TROPICAL GARDENS. Hardwood dining deck overlooking Mangos, Flamboyant Trees, Golden Palms & scented Frangipani. - - - - MULLINS BEACH is just 4 minutes stroll with lovely sand and a great beach restaurant. Gibbes beach is a hidden gem 800 yards away.

Would you like someone to do some cooking for you?: Have a break from shopping and cooking? If you would like someone to cook authentic meals for you we have one English and three Bajan ladies who have cooked many lovely meals for us. They can cook you a meal for an occasional night - or everyday if you prefer. - - - - FAVOURITE DISHES with guests include: Bajan seasoned flying fish, curry or roti, grilled Marlin, Tuna, Kingfish or Mahi Mahi, cou cou, baked eggplant, butternut squash, pineapple pie. - - - CHILDREN LOVE the baked chicken, Bajan macaroni pie and rice & peas.

Eating Out: MULLINS BEACH BAR & RESTAURANT is 350 yards away. A few hundred yards further North bring you a Chinese Restaurant and 3 informal Bajan eateries. - - - - SPEIGHTSTOWN which remains authentically Bajan is a mile from Mullins Beach, with popular eating places such as Mangos Restaurant, The Fisherman's Pub, Casareep Cafe and Doris’ Place. - - - - FURTHER NORTH - Just beyond Speightstown on the coast road there is the excellent Fish Pot restaurant, La Mer at stylish Port St Charles and local fish frys in the fishing villages of Six Mens and Half Moon Fort. - - - HEADING SOUTH the best ribs in Barbados are at Chris's Places - in the hills a mile away. Spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa sleeping 8+ in air conditioned bedrooms. OUTSIDE is large covered hardwood dining deck. There is a large swimming pool set in delightful tropical gardens. INSIDE is light and airy, a very large dining / living room, teak table and comfortable sofa & chairs. It is furnished throughout in a mixture of hardwood, sea grass and modern fabrics. There is a large kitchen, further dining table, big entrance hall and TV room. ENTERTAINMENT: This is our holiday home so it is ideal for families with children. There is a large HDTV, satellite and DVD player, a toy box with a good selection of children games and toys, plenty of books and DVD's plus a swing and rope ladder in the garden and bikes for ages up to c9. What a wonderful time we had at the Mullins Bay Estate. We rented all the properties on the estate. The place is in a nice location where you a truely had a short walk from the beach. After the beach we relaxed by the pool most evenings. In the afternoons we daily received passing visits from the green monkeys. They loved the mango and avocado trees that are on the property. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. As a family we did the catamaran that Sarah suggested and all the kids had a ball swimming with the turtles and the food and drinks were great. Sarah and Simon were very helpful, and easy to work with with dealing with transactions regarding the house. Thanks Simon and Sarah for a wonderful time.

We had booked a family (7 adults, including 3 x 20-somethings!) holiday to celebrate Silver Weddings, landmark birthdays etc - and couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to stay. The villa and surroundings are just as magical as the photos promise. The villa itself was beautifully maintained, with a housekeeper and gardener on site to ensure it stayed that way. The housekeeper also made some lovely Bajan food, which was amazing! The beach was just a stroll away, the sea and the sky really are those glorious colours, and Mullins Bay Restaurant is THE best place to go for lunch! The 'youngsters' could get into Holetown on the buses very easily for some nightlife, while the elders had a civilised drink on the verandah. Our problem now is, that it can't be a once in a lifetime holiday, because we all need to go back....now!

Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a highly enjoyable and relaxing week's stay at the delightful Mullins Bay House which is in a quiet spot but only a few minutes walk from the excellent beach which also has a good restaurant. There's an enticing range of other restaurants and bars within a short driving distance. Mullins Bay House has all the amenities you could wish for, we were well looked after, there's a good swimming pool, and evenings sitting out on the verandah overlooking the lush garden were an added pleasure. I can really recommend it and we would happily stay again.

Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Just spent a week at the Mullins Bay House and had an excellent time. The house was great for a mismatched group of couples and singles as we vacaioned together. Proximity to the beach and nearby stores and activities was great. The backyard and pool were really nice after a long day of sightseeing. The support staff at the house were excellent. Will definitely stay at Mullins House again when visiting Barbados in the future.

Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was a great holiday home in a lovely setting. We spent most of the time out of doors, either in the pool or on the balcony looking at the beautiful gardens filled with tropical plants. Mullins Beach is really close and perfect for children with lots for them to do. We thought the house was accurately described and found Sarah & Simon very good to deal with. The staff were really helpful and friendly too. Best restaurants: Fish Pot near Speighstown and The Mews in Holetown. The children loved JuJu's beach bar and Chris's Place. Best beaches: Mullins, Heywoods at Speightstown and the Crane on the East Coast. Highly recommended.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This is a wonderful place for a group holiday. The location is nice and quiet but convenient for beach, shopping etc. Mullins beach has loungers and a great bar/restaurant but we really liked Gibbs because it was so quiet. The staff are very efficient. We loved all the little touches - it was all so organised and well looked after. We enjoyed good chats round the pool with the other guests. The guides and factsheets we were sent were really useful in pointing us towards some very good restaurants. We will return for sure.

We had a fabulous holiday. The house was perfect; so peaceful, relaxing and totally stress free. Anthea the Housekeeper is an absolute gem, she really looked after us. There were seven in our party and we all had an amazing time. We did quite a bit of sight seeing around the island and had some wonderful dinners - the best of which was Tides which was a wonderful evening. We also had a lovely lunch at the crane followed by a sunbathe on the beach. At the end of the day it was wonderful just to sit armed with a Banks in the tranquil garden which is stunning, watch the wildlife and completely chill out.

Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a wonderful time we had at this lovely house. It has been furnished with great taste and we felt very comfortable and relaxed in truly exquisite surroundings. Our children had a lovely time playing in the pool and spotting green monkeys in the mango trees. The two staff are professional, welcoming and very friendly. The house and grounds were kept impeccably clean and tidy during our stay.

Our one bedroom Pool Apartment is also available at Mullins Bay House - this can sleep 2 adults and if need be 2 children on folding or inflatable beds.

CAR AVAILABLE - Our 5 seater Suzuki Grand Vitara or Honda Jazz/Fit are available at a reasonable rate as part of a package for guests staying at Mullins Bay House. BROADBAND WIFI - Broadband wifi network for guest's laptops, iphones etc.
