The home has three living levels for privacy and space.
You'll be able to relax before skiing, golfing or sightseeing in the two story atrium living area with cozy sofas, a large dining table and floor to ceiling windows. Or, enjoy the solitude and comfort of the second floor loft with majestic views of the mountains. Enjoy convenient assigned parking and your own private entrance.
The home is pristine and beautifully furnished. The four bedroom plan sleeps 10 - 12, the three bedroom plan sleeps 6 and the cozy 2 bedroom plan sleeps 4. There's a seasonal outdoor pool with tennis courts and two ponds for fishing. Quaint Village atmosphere and federal style architecture make your stay even more enjoyable. Fully equipped kitchen, tiled floors, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave and large refrigerator combine to make this your home away from home. There are a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 baths with a master bedroom on the first and third floor.
The master has a queen bed, the second floor bedrooms each have 2 twin beds and a full bathroom, the third floor has the fourth (master) bedroom with four twin beds and a private bath. Laundry area is equipped with washer and dryer. Telephone provided for local calls only. Bed linens are available for a small additional charge. Please bring your own towels. Why the Owner Chose Mercersburg
We love to ski and if we could we could we would ski all day ...every day. We love the Resort in the winter. It's festive and the services are great. The off-season is wonderfully relaxing with the pool and mountain views.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love the atmosphere and the very friendly people. The area is full of Civil War history and sites. There are great restaurants just a few miles away. It's close enough to our home that we can be there in an hour. Yet it's so beautiful we feel like we've travelled to New England!
Owner's Map of Mercersburg
We chose Whitetail Mountain Resort for our vacation home because it's our own little 'slice of Heaven'. In the winter the crisp mountain air is envigorating and in the summer we kick back and relax in the pool or just take a walk on the acres and acres of mountain trails. When we are finally relaxed we ride into Mercersburg for dinner or drive to Sharpsburg and reserach more of the Civil War sites.
