This beautifully decorated and recently updated, two bedroom, two bathroom condo at the very popular Papakea Oceanfront Resort is a perfect home base for friends and family to relax and enjoy Maui! Everything you need to enjoy your vacation is provided - the condo comes fully furnished with cookware, bed and bath linens, beach towels, a cooler for the beach, and beach chairs. The kitchen has everything to make it easy - a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, full-size oven and range, and coffeemaker. The condo has a laundry center right in the unit - washer and dryer and laundry supplies! The master bedroom has a gorgeous ocean view for you to enjoy right from the King-size bed! The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds for maximum flexibility. And, each bathroom is separated with a door into a vanity and sink area between the toilet, bath and shower areas. Enjoy outdoor living with dining for four on the lanai as well as a chaise lounge. This ground floor condo has a wide expanse of grass beyond the lanai in front of the koi ponds, no pathway, so that very little traffic goes by and it offers lots of privacy. It's well distanced from the pool area, again for quiet and privacy. The sounds of the surf provide a lovely background accompaniment for the waterfalls and fountains of the koi pond in front of the condo.

VRBO Bear stayed here - 05/21/2008 - on site review: This Papakea Resort condo is perfectly located to take in all the sites and activities of the west coast of Maui. Papakea is an older but beautifully maintained resort just minutes north of the famous town of Lahaina. The condo features a pool and putting green just steps away from the patio door. Some of the best snorkeling on the coast is just a few yards further. The condo is decorated in the traditional Hawaiian manner with wicker furniture. The master bedroom has lots of windows allowing beautiful views of the lush gardens and pools (with koi), putting greens, swimming pool, and Molokai in the distance. The kitchen is fully furnished, and the counter and bar stools make a great desk to connect your laptop to the free WiFi...that is, if you want to keep up with the world offshore! The owners of this condo own several other similar Papakea Resort condos so you can easily arrange for a family or other large group reunion through them. As an added bonus, they own Hawaii Rafting, one of the best West Maui dive shops with trips to Lanai, a largely unexplored island. Guests of theirs get discounts on dives!
