Lake George is on the Chattahoochee river with the dam at Fort Gaines, Georgia located on highway Georgia 39 and Georgia 37. IT is approximately 50 miles from Columbus, Georgia and 40 miles from Dothan, Alabama, and 50 miles from Albany, Georgia George Bagby State Park and Meadow Links golf course is approximately three miles north of Fort Gaines on highway 39. Our cottage is located at the Pataula Creek landing on highway 39 and is within five miles of the golf course. Pataula creek is a major landing on the lake and has excellent fishing especially in the spring and fall.

We are, also, located only 12 miles from beautiful Eufaula, Alabama noted for its antebellum architecture and fine antique shops. IT has a wide variety of restaurants as well. An annual tour of homes and art fair is held each year on the first weekend in April. Meadow Links Golf course is an 18 hole course by William Byrd. Golf Digest named Meadow Links the "Sixth Best Affordable Public Course" when it was opened a few years ago. Bagby State park is a full service park offering a fine restaurant on the water, a full service marina, beach and playground and large facilities for reunions and meetings.

The redwood chalet has two bedrooms with double beds, a small loft with one bed and one bath upstairs. Downstairs there is one bedroom with bunk bed and one bath. The double boathouse has a walk-in shower and laundry room. There is front and back deck and fenced back yard.
