Cedar log lodge style home on the sunset north shore of Lake Charlevoix. An Ideal two to three family get-a-way. Six bedrooms (1 King, 4 Queens(3 with additonal single beds)and a room with 4 twins, four and a half baths and outdoor hot shower! Limit 16 guests. No smoking.
- The main area of the home has two bedrooms up with shared bath, First floor has a master suite, great room with stone fireplace, a gourmet kitchen with SubZero fridge and a wood burning oven just outside.
- Lower walk out level has two bedrooms with shared bath (Jacuzzi tub, clear glass shower … and pull chain toilet!) Lower great room has a 60’ Stereo TV, DVD and wet bar. High speed wireless internet access included!
- An additional upper level guest suite has a full kitchen, living room, master suite and 4 bed sleeping loft (not included in 16 bed count).
The home is a woodworking work of art. Custom log, twig, rocks and more make each room a picture postcard. Break out the Jack London and curl up for the night!
Water in the house comes from a spring ... water you could bottle! A small stream with ponds (and frogs) follows the winding boardwalk to the lakeside deck, fire pit and dock.
Boat hoist for up to 4,500 Lbs. Deep water mooring for larger craft.

Why the Owner Chose Charlevoix
The city of Charlevoix and it's protected harbor, shops, restaurants, beaches and history is the quintessential norther town. Lake Charlevoix, with 57 miles of shorline is almost a great lake in itself, by boat you can visit Boyne City, East Jordan and best of all Charlevoix. We chose our locationon the lake so it is a quick trip to town by car or boat. We love to use the shoppers dock, hit the town, and on calm days, venture out into Lake Michigan.
The Unique Benefits at this House
With multiple living areas and two full kitchens, we find our guest inviting us to dinner, in the same home! The home provides all the privacy and togetherness you need with 2 or three families together. The outside shower, the woodburning pizza oven, the fire pit on the beach and frog filled creek offers all the fun we need on vacation without leaving the property

We had this custom cedar log home built for us in 1998, a beatiful northern Michigan family lode with an entrirly wood interior. You will see it is not the average rental home. Now that we are empty nesters and can only gather the family together only a few weeks a year, we have been sharing our home through VRBO. We hope you decide to go north and start a family tradition of your own.
