About the owner: Mike and I live in Indianapolis, Indiana. We have owned property in Kelly Greens for 'in-season' starting with a manor many years ago. We do not use a management company. We typically have the same renters year after year and can provide many references. This particular condo is our most recent purchase. We have found that our renters treat the condo as if it's their own home during season. We are very responsive to any issues that arise and want any renter to feel like they are 'home away from home'. We come down with our children in the off season and make sure it has all the amenities ... bikes, tennis, beach gear!
Why the Owner Chose Kelly Greens: We chose Kelly Greens because of the golf course and the LOCATION with its proximity to Sanibel and Captiva Island, Fort Myers Beach, putt putt, shopping, etc. We have owned since 1997 and witnessed first hand as owners how excellent the management at Kelly Greens is. The community has only improved with updates to the clubhouse and golf course. We have been extremely happy here ... so much so that we purchased this unit in 2014! We also own a unit upstairs, next door to this unit.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: The wildlife is amazing. We enjoy watching the bald eagles, ibis, herons and other unique birds out the back lanai. We love the convenience of being close to Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach.
The clubhouse has been recently updated and there is a nice exercise facility. It is so common to see people riding bikes and walking around the community. The personnel at the pro shop are friendly and helpful. We always ask to see which hole the gators are located!
Personally, we prefer the quite Sanibel Island beach when we choose to visit the Gulf.
The Florida breeze is fantastic and we often open the front and back lanai doors, getting that fresh breeze throughout the day.
