During winter months hop in your car and take a short drive to Tahoe's hottest ski resorts including Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Diamond Peak and Mount Rose. Also if you want to try your luck in the casino's, then Crystal Bay Nevada with some of Tahoe's most famous casino's is less than five miles away.
