  What a great place!!! We can't say enough good things about this home. It was very well furnished. It had everything we needed...lots of towels, pool toys, etc. The pool was sparkling and clean -- it's a salt water pool... what a great change from the usual. The entertainment area was where every one hung out when they weren't walking the beach, playing in the pool or playing pool. This place has a beautiful pool table. It had all the comforts we wanted and more. We could have stayed forever. It is spacious with lots of room for everyone. The decorations were amazing. The owner clearly has a great sense of collecting. We will be back again and again and again.

  We had a wonderful time during our July 2011 visit. We stayed at the USS Gulf Breeze which was unfortunately, less than expected. The house is older and smells old. The pots & pans in the kitchen were very old and filthy dirty - to the point that they couldn't be cleaned. Likewise with the grill outside. It was so dirty we couldn't use it. We bought a small charcoal grill. There were a number of things that didn't work in the house. Overall, we were disappointed especially considering what we paid for the week. The cost was substantial for the week. The accomodations were well below what I would expect based on what we paid. We didn't allow it to ruin our vacation but again, were extremely disappointed.

  Owner response: We were shocked to see such a review of our property. Her review simply doesn't tell the story of this home. Every single other review in the Ship’s Log (maintained at the house) are full of rave reviews about the wonderful accommodations. This is a beautifully decorated home. It has a custom built antique pool table in almost perfect condition. The landscaping is lush and green. The pool deck and pool are beautiful. The pool is a salt water pool, so there is no smell of chlorine on your bathing suits or skin. We are sorry that she was disappointed in the accommodations. When there are issues of concern that are brought to our attention, we do everything in our power to make it right. I wish she had picked up the phone to let us know her concerns and allowed us the opportunity to make it right for her.

  We have enjoyed our stay on the USS Gulf Breeze. The pool and pool table were in constant use!! The house is beautiful and the Location Perfect. We had some meals out, but really had the best time eating in. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, dishes, and cookware - it was great!   The Tower family enjoyed the week here at this most enjoyable house. The attention to detail is remarkable. We all felt slightly guilty at choosing to “stay-in” rather than sight–seeing all the time.This was so relaxing – but then that is the idea of cruising!The Tower Family, California

  Greetings from the Grace Peterson family! Thanks for the opportunity to have such a beautiful facility to have a FAMILY REUNION with members coming from across America. The home is wonderful; we enjoyed all the extra touches that made it feel so homelike and comfortable. The paintings, the decorations, the extra cooking equipment in the kitchen, the pool table, the swimming pool – plus everything else made for a MEMORABLE week.   What a wonderful home. I loved the theme. I was hot, but who could really tell with the pool and outside fans! I had a great time here and will never forget it.   We enjoyed the wonderful “cruising” - love the motif. The ship is very POSH. Can’t believe the pool and deck with water over 90 degrees. Had a wonderful time on the beach and the Gulf waters were in the high 80s. Fort Myers Beach is an Island Paradise. We will be back to the Gulf Breeze.

  What a place!! Our 65th Anniversary could not have been better. All of our six children were here with us, and five grandchildren. How can you beat that? The greatest anniversary ever!! The amenities were perfect, the pool the pool table, the size of the place, and the privacy when we wanted. Thanks a million.

  I think one word sums it up - PALATIAL! It was like Paradise and I feel so luck ot have been one of the first people to say int is place. It was so comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the pool, pool table, and the jacuzzin in the "Captain's Head". Amazing sound system in the living room, and the DVD collection is perfect - there is something for everyone. Thanks for heilping make my grandparents 65th anniversayr an unforgetable event in our lives - all 15 of us!!

  Thanks for making this place so warm and inviting. We were pleased to "break it in", but it already felt homey. You thought of all the details - plenty of chairs, towels, silverware, the comfort of this life. Thanks for making Warren & Helen's 65th anniversary so wonderful!!
