Why the Owner Chose Edgartown
We bought this house because of the location and lot size. The large lot and deck is ideal for our family. We love to grill and hang out on the deck. With 3 boys, it was important for them to have plenty of yard space to play wiffle ball, football or whatever. It's also an easy bike ride to South Beach + town. The honey pine floors, wood burning stoves and country kitchen give it a warm comfortable feel. The natural cedar shake exterior make it a classic Vineyard cape.

My wife + I fell in love with this beautiful island on our first visit in 1990. It is an enchanting land that immediately captures your imagination and draws you in. As one person said while standing on the deck watching the sunset " I'm under the Vineyard spell ". It's a great place to chill. The gorgeous beaches, picturesque scenery, preserved land and amazing cliffs in Aquinna are just a few of the reasons to visit the island. We have invaluable memories of fishing, cooking on the deck, body surfing at the beach, dining in local restaurants and watching sunsets in Menemsha with our close friends and family. We hope you will enjoy the same experiences while visiting this lovely vacation paradise.
