This peaceful & historic 110 year old cottage has been recently refurbished and decorated in a charming, eclectic style by the chocolatier/artist owners, Kim & Gordon. During your stay you will be gifted with several varieties of the the owner's premium dark chocolate in the non-summer months.
In and around the cottage, Kim & Gordon have worked very hard to retain the flavor of the early days of this turn-of-the century mining town while adding many artistic touches of their own. Kim puts her gardening skills to work nurturing several lush patio/gardens. From one of the bedroom's balcony or from the patio enjoy the views as they sweep over Old Bisbee and stretch beyond into the mountains of Mexico.
While sipping your morning coffee or tea from your bedroom deck you will delight in the many species of birds that are attracted to the feeders surrounding the cottage property. This array of birds can include four or more species of hummingbirds including violet-crowned hummers as well as nearly 100 other bird species. Bisbee is the perfect location for accessing the many hiking, birding and wildlife viewing areas of SE Arizona.
One of the most unique qualities about Hummingbird Hill House is that within a few minutes you can walk to the heart of lively Bisbee and enjoy the fantastic galleries, restaurants and museums yet relax in quiet, peaceful privacy while at your cottage home. Hummingbird Hill House is located on the quiet side of town.
In the hills above the cottage several hiking trails into the Mule Mountains begin and invite you to explore this high desert mountain ecosystem.
