  We have had a wonderful time in K404 at the Papakea. We have returned to the Papakea for 11 years and this is by far the nicest unit ever. We have friends and family in three other units and none compare! Thank you to Carol and Mike for making our stay better than ever. The kitchen is magnficient and the newly remodeled bathrooms are awesome! Mahalo

  This was our third time at Papakea and this condo. It couldn't have been better. Papakea is a beautiful resort with manicured grounds. Everything is kept very clean and organized. They have plenty of lounge chairs at the pool and on the grass area. The BBQ's are great and well kept. The staff are very helpful and always available. This condo is a great unit with wonderful views. We could even see the whales from our balcony. The unit has everything you could ever want, Carol has thought of everything. Plastic glasses for around the pool, beach chairs for you to take out, boogie board, coolers, beach towels, games and books. The kitchen is wonderful to work in. Everything you want is there. Top quality dishes, knives, cookware, wine glasses, serving plates, mixing bowls, there has never been anything I went to get and it wasn't there. Everything is of high standard from the kitchen to the bathrooms, sheets, pillows, towels etc. all upgraded and kept beautifully clean. The location is the best. Only 10min drive to Lahaina, 5min to Whalers Village. Groceries are across the street and wonderful restaurants close by, all within walking distance. Carol, the owner, is very accommodating and helpful. Everything about this unit and Carol exceed our expectations. Thanks again Carol for sharing your Hawaii home. Mahalo.

• Maui is the best!

  This is a wonderful condo in a very beautiful resort and is exactly as the photos and description depicts. It was very clean which is a big plus for us. The view from the condo is amazing, ocean and palm trees. Everything within the condo was great and Carol, the owner, is very accommodating and helpful. The beds are very comfortable and were just right for our family. The location is really close to Lahaina and close to lots of beaches to visit as well as the beach right next to the resort. The grassy area is lovely to sit on and watch the ocean and the whales jumping. We could even see the whales from our balcony. We visited quite a few restaurants including Kimo's in Lahaina 3 times, Duke's, Castaway Cafe. We spent time at The Whalers' Village Centre too. We also went to the Haleakala Volcano which was really interesting. All in all, our Maui vacation was very, very, good and a large part of it was staying at this condo.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

  We would like to thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful condo in Maui at Papakea. The condo itself is just beautiful. The view from the living room and master bedroom simply took our breath away. We ended up with just 5 of us going so our 22 year old son took over the upstairs loft and it was like pulling teeth to get him downstairs. We are pretty much clean freaks and the lady who cleans the condo does an excellent job. The grounds were amazing as well. We never made it out to the putting green or shuffleboard but did use the bar-b-que’s at least a couple of evenings. The weather was amazing and the only day we had any rain was on New Years Day. We would definitely recommend your condo and hope to come stay again in the future. Thank you again.

  The six of us had a truly fabulous time at Papakea K404. The photos depict a true picture of this superb tropical setting. The property was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, plus plenty of room for a family of six. The property was very well appointed including a very functional kitchen and attractively updated bathrooms - even showers with great water pressure. Around the pool there were Weber BBQ grills that were well maintained everyday by the Papakea staff. Even though the temperatures reached close to 90F, we did not need to use the A/C because the unit had great cross ventilation and effective ceiling fans. The location was convenient to beaches, golfing, sightseeing, shops or whatever anyone could need. Carol and Mike were fantastic with their organization and recommendations of activities, places to see and where to shop. They responded immediately to any questions we had. We will definitely keep this property on top of our list for future visits to Maui.

  We stayed in K-404 for one week (wished it was longer) with friends who were first time visitors to Maui. Since I was in charge of making arrangements, i diligently read the descriptions and reviews on this unit. Everything about this unit exceeded our expectations. Carol, the owner even called on the second day to make sure we were satisfied. Needless to say that we were impressed with the unit, and Carol for going the extra mile. We would definitely go back to this property and have already recommended it to friends. Mahalo again Carol for making our vacation such a pleasant experience. Kerry, Mary, Kevin & Arlene

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papakea K404. The unit was immaculately clean, updated and very well stocked. If anything it is bigger than it looks in the photos. The view is spectacular and the grounds are pleasant and very well kept. Despite the fact that we were there during March break, it wasn't too crowded and there were lots of chaises and even barbecues available. Parking is limited and the WiFi is very slow during peak times. There are some negative stories about property rental experiences in this complex but Carol handles K404 herself and gives great customer service. Highly recommend it.

  Just perfect, everything and more that was described, The property was spotless and we did not even have to purchase coffee filters. they were there already, everything that you would need which is a huge bonus when traveling I would recommend Carol and Mikes Condo to anyone who is concidering Maui as a vacation spot
