When one of our siblings turns 80, the six of us with spouses meet up, this time at this wonderful house. We had a fabulous time, cancelled all dinners out in favor of eating in. Found wonderful fresh fish on a local dock. House is on one level and VERY well equipped, clean and furnished. The decks are perfect for cocktail hour and sun bathing. The oldest of us, 84, had no trouble getting to the beach. Kite flying is fine. Bring plenty of binoculars so you can see the whales close-up. We have a new family table tennis champion (pro tem) and the REAL challenge is finding something as nice four years from now. Comfortable, quiet, roomy, private with every possible convenience, two dishwashers and the two birthday cakes we baked came out perfectly. In all: perfect. The 11 of us gave it a solid 10.0.

I want to tell you how much my family enjoyed our time in your beach house in June of this year. We loved your house!! It was everything we had hoped and more: pristine, beautiful, convenient, private, easy to get to, gorgeous views, luxurious. It worked exactly as I had hoped it would for our family. Thank you for your hospitality and your care of the property. The kids got to the house before we did and as Rick and I were walking in the front door, my granddaughter came racing up, dancing with excitement, saying, “We saw WHALES!! Right out the front window!! Whales!!” And sure enough, we saw them every day we were in the house but one, and that day we saw them elsewhere. We truly enjoyed the beach below the house and spent a number of hours walking there. I loved looking up and seeing “our” deck high above us. Thanks again. God bless you and your family. - Barbara

I took my team of 5 there for a planning conference and retreat. It was so perfect! Everyone had lots of room and the common areas are so spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is very well outfitted and it is so beautiful just stay home and eat in! The storms were so fun to watch from the recliners and the eagle flew by several times. We all highly recommend it and hope to go back next year! We went to the Earthbound Spa in Newport and had massages. It is small but the massages were good. Dinner at Aprils was great too.

Family Fishing Trip and Whale Sightings a joy

One of the many highlights of our stay at the beach house was a Charter fishing trip with my three son in laws. We caught our limit and had a great time but best was yet to come. On our return trip to the Marina. we were blessed to watch a Gray Whale feeding along the side of our Charter boat. He surfaced many times and our captain knew just how to keep up with him (or maybe a her). All our children had a fantastic time on the Oregon coast, and they loved the Beach House. "Louise - I just want to let you know how much we're enjoying your beautiful beach house. It is really the ideal place for us, with great separation of space, and yet open and easy for us to all be together. It's so beautifully furnished, with plenty of seating, dishes, etc. etc. And we love the location, which is quiet and private, but easy to get to points of interest. "Louise - Your beach house exceeded our expectations. Everything was so nice. It was the perfect gathering spot for family from Kansas, Los Angeles, and Portland. We loved it. Tidal Rave was our favorite restaurant, but we managed to try chowder from several local restaurants too. Thank you for the recommendations and for organizing the house to run smoothly. It was hard for us to leave - especially to walk away from the leather chairs in front of the windows. I finished Mitch Albom's latest bood ("Have a Little Faith") while sitting in one of those chairs, talk about heaven! Take Care"

"Louise - I can't begin to tell you how beautiful, warm and comfortable your house is. As soon as I walked in the door I felt the warmth of the love in the very walls welcome us. We had a wonderful time and spent very special moments together there. I will never forget each and every beautiful room. The view was unbelievable! And, I must say, I want a memory foam mattress! I had never slept on one before. Melissa and Neal already have one in their home. Everything was wonderful! God bless you and your family. What a fabulous rental house! We were 5 siblings with spouce's, all Sr. Citizens, and agreed 100% that we will return next year for our family time. The accommodations we superior, the queen beds fabulous,lovely bathrooms, a dream kitchen, wonderful TV area's, conversation area's, and very comfortable "reading" area's. You have thought of everything. The dream kitchen accomodated us extremly well. Better than any of us have in our own homes. And to top it off, the view was like sitting on a "cruise ship", looking out at the ocean and down the beach! We feel very blessed that you have shared this beautiful home with us! Thank you so much! Five couples stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful Newport, Oregon Beach House. The accomodations were five star! Beds, linens,funiture, TV's, bathrooms, and kitchen were first rate and very clean and well maintained. I will recommend this to friends and plan to return again. The panoramic view from the living room and kitchen were breathe taking. This is a wonderful facility and don't hesitate to rent as you will not be disapointed! Lois

This was an extrodinary rental home. Everything you could possibly need or want was available or provided, except the chef. The pictures did not do this rental property justice. It wa like walking into a brand-new model home. Exceptionally clean and well appointed except there was no iron or ironing board so you will need to bring your own if you think you will need one. The two very large great rooms make it easy for a large group of 10 to enjoy each other in one room or divide up for different entertainment activities. There was a very large dining table that easily sat our group of 10. A very welcome feature of this home were the 5 1/2 bathrooms. All you need to bring are your food, clothes and camera, as everything else is provided. The beds were extremely comfortable and all the appliances were high-end quality. We found ourselves writing down the names of several of the appliances, because they were so user friendly. Although it was so relaxing to just sit in front of the wrap around windows and watch the surf & boats, a walking trail leading to the beach provided much needed exercise after all the relaxing. There was also car access to the beach for those of us who had difficulty with the somewhat steep trail. We enjoyed playing with the ping-pong table and foos-ball table in the garage when the weather was a little drizzly. They really have everything for everyone. The owners were exceedingly helpful, providing a book of information from how to use all the appliances and BBQ to good local restaurants. You can easily take day trips to other beach communities which we did but loved coming back to our spatious, comfortable beach home. Out of 10, we all agreed this was a 10+. We would recommend this rental property to absolutely anyone.

We stayed in the lower unit for a wedding we were attending. The home was clean, well appointed and had a million dollar view. I would not hesitate to stay here again..
