This newly-built, two bedroom, one and half bath house with loft sleeps six plus people. It is located "up-Island" on five acres in a very private setting with a lawn and Beetlebung trees. It is accessible to many walking and bike trails. You will have access to two of the island's best beaches which are private: Lucy Vincent Beach and Squibnocket Beach are just minutes from the home. You are also close to the scenic fishing village of Menemsha. Golf, tennis, shopping at the fleamarket and dining at scenic restaurants are nearby.
This Non-Smoking home has a modern kitchen with all possible amenities. There is a laundry, stereo, CD, cable TV, and weekly rubbish pick-up. The bright and airy living area features vaulted beamed ceilings with two skylights and opens onto the covered farmer's porch and sundeck which is furnished with chaise lounges and a table with umbrella. The house has a fireplace, ceiling fans, and bamboo floors throughout. Just off the sundeck is a refreshing and private outdoor shower.
The master bedroom with queen-size bed, private bathroom, and ceiling fan opens onto a spacious sundeck. There is a set of twin beds in the other bedroom. The living room has a double pullout couch. This is a charming cottage in a beautiful nature filled setting. Please bring sheets and towels. Ferry tickets are available.
