The Winter Swell is here and what a ride !
Fortunately, this stretch of Long Sandy Beach is within walking distance to Pipes and Sunset and Rocky Point is close enough to watch the action from the living room !
This EXCELLENT, Two Bedroom, Beachfront Home is situated the looong stretch of sandy beach just several hundred yards south of Sunset Beach. The locals call this particular area Rocky Point and it is one of the most popular breaks in the area. The Rocky's Left's end's just to the left of the house.
Easy walk with your board to Rocky Point, Kammie's or Sunset, but Monster Mush is right out the door.

In the Summer, the swell settles down but an occasional break in front of the house manages to pop up, though much gentler and is one of the few northshore beaches to still have surfable conditions in the summer. Plenty of Sand and Ocean Blue. Boogie Board, Snorkle, Swim and Fish or just lounge on the beach and grab some ray's!

The Living area is furnished in Bamboo including furniture and window coverings. A raised bar off the kitchen with seating makes it a very sociable place. It's two bedrooms each have a Queen-size bed and ceiling fans and there is a King-size pun'ee in the living area (the most favorite of all places here to rest or sleep and enjoy the Ocean View. All Bed mattresses are Super comfortable.

Through the windows and patio doors facing the ocean, it is nothing but sand and sea. Sit on the oceanside patio and watch the Whales or the Spectacular Sunset as it slowly melt's into the sea after your day of Sunning at the Beach, Snorkeling Sharks Cove, Surfing, Boogie Boarding, Bodysurfing, or Shopping in Haleiwa Town.

Clean, Quiet and Comfortable. Starbucks and grocery store within a couple of miles. Stroll past Sunset Beach to the world Famous "TED"S BAKERY," known for their most mouth-watering pies, such as the Chocolate Haupia or Macadamia Nut Pie and the Surfers Breakfast Special. Close enough to work up an appetite, far enough to burn off the pie !

  • Even though it's been 4 months since I left, I just can't stop thinking about our stay. Nancy, thank you so much for letting us stay at the house at Rocky Point! My husband and I got married in Maui and came over to the North Shore for the honeymoon and this house just made our trip! It's pure magic. You just can't get a better location. Ted's up the street is the best bakery I have ever been to in my life. I will be sending people to you in the future. Can't wait myself to come back. I miss it. What a wonderful home.

  • Your house afforded us a magical vacation and completely exceeded our expectations. The location is spectacular -- a gorgeous beach and amazing views. We loved sunset hour on the lawn overlooking the beach. The house was very accomodating - comfortable beds, great outdoor and indoor shower, amazing living area that was completely open to the beach, and everything we needed for laid-back living. We will be back and recommend to anyone traveling to the North Shore.

  • Dear Nancy and Bill, thank you again for the most beautiful hollidays we ever had. After 3 weeks in this awesome house we know that paradise exists. We got much more than we expected. Although we were here in summer, we could surf and bodyboard nearly every day right in front of the house. Ah, there are so many fantastic afterglows like the big bamboo bed, the sunset surfing, ted's bakery, jumping from "the rock"(waimea) and many many more...this easy-living-endless-summer-feeling - we really miss it.
