Great southwest location on the lake with open water views but protected area for swimming, floating or just relaxing. Very quiet area for that relaxing and comfortable vacation.

Great House & Location

It was the perfect setting for 2 couples travelling together. Each couple had a spacious bedroom with bath. The house was clean, comforable, very well equipped in all rooms - linens, dishes, cooking, etc. We spent a lot of time in the sun room with the great views of the lake and just all around pleasant surroundings and set up. Marilyn and Jack next door and their dog Jenny, were so pleasant and hospitable to us. It was perfect for us as senior citizens, but we both said it would have been great for us when our kids were around too. The surroundings and home were every bit as good as the pictures led us to believe. It was an easy ride to the stores and activities. Several quiet areas to walk with our little dog. Thanks it was a great time for the 4 of us. We certainly would use this home again, if we return to this area, which also is outstanding beauty.

Stayed her for a family vacation and we loved it. From the moment we sat foot inside the house it was like we were home. The home was clean and the view was spectacular. I cant tell you how many pictures i took of the sunrise over the lake from the dock. Everything is within driving distance. I would highly recommend this home to everyone.

This June 2010 was our 2nd stay at this Great house on the lake! We stayed in 2008 as well. The house provides a great set up for a relaxing fun family vacation. The house is very clean and well maintained. The pics on the web site really don't do it the justice it deserves. The deck that spans the back of the house and the private dock out back are wonderful and where we spent most of our time swimming, grilling and playing horseshoes. We brought our boat and while you can't launch it at the private neighborhood launch, the public launch was only minutes away by boat. We kept our boat at the dock all week long and still had plenty of room to hang out at the table on the dock and swim. All the neighbors are really nice and helpful and the next door neighbor Marilyn will assist you with anything you need for the owners. She and Her husband were very helpful and friendly. Owners are very quick to respond to emails, reservation requests etc. Hot Springs also has many fun things to do on days you don't want to hang at the lake. Oaklawn has electronic gaming, there is shopping, downtown tourist sites, movies, putt putt and many great restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was Fisherman's Wharf on the water which can be accessed by car or by boat. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a great, clean, fun place to stay on the lake. In fact we plan to make this a yearly vacation!!
