  This bedroom is very large, with a beautiful parquet floor, original marble fireplace and wide marble mantelpiece, and enormous antique mirror alongside an antique armoire. Contemporary furnishing brings it right up to date. The shuttered window looks out onto a typically Parisian hidden courtyard. The bedroom is very quiet. However, when you are lying in the fabulously comfy double bed, you can sometimes hear the distant rumble of the Paris Metro far, far beneath you. How much more authentic can you get? There are lots of blankets for those cool winter nights, and beautiful Egyptian cotton sheets for the hot summer evenings.
