On seventeen acres of swaying palm trees and seven miles of gleaming white sugar sand, known as the "Safest Beach in the World" because of its gentle sloping shore and lack of currents.
Our condo is a one bedroom studio with a king-size bed, but can sleep four with the pull-out sofa in the living room. The kitchen is fully-equipped. Towels and linens are included. The new large screen TV has cable (90 plus channels), VCR, and DVD. Heated pool, gas grills, and clay tennis courts are located on the property.
Most importantly, you overlook the Gulf of Mexico from the tenth floor living room and lanai. The property is on the beach, and buffered by a private grassy lawn and beautiful natural lagoon--a favorite spot for water bird photographers. You can walk around the lagoon to get to the ocean, but wading across a shallow short stretch is more fun!
On the other side of the property you can walk to restaurants, Santorini Shopping Plaza, Fish Tale Marina (where you can rent boats, pontoons and fishing gear), and an executive 18-hole golf course (under $30). Or catch a passing trolley and tour the entire island for 25 cents!

Why the Owner Chose Estero Beach & Tennis Club
We love winter get-aways, and we prefer Florida's Gulf over the dry southwestern U.S. We've been to many areas of Florida, but we decided some years ago to visit only Ft. Meyers Beach. We think it's Florida's best kept secret! It's not overly-developed, but very visitor friendly, with it's island culture in tact.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We like to cook and BBQ, which is very easy at our condo. But there are six very good restaurants right across the street if you less ambitious. Our condo is located on 17 acres of lawns and swaying palm trees, just steps to white powder beach.
It's a great place to relax, find peace, and feel good.
You can rent fishing boats and pontoon boats, half or full days. Also rent fishing gear. Bait and guides available. Fish or boat in the bay, or cross under the bridge nearby to enter the gulf.
Convenient shopping across the street. Several good restaraurants, an Italian deli, and ice cream shop. Nice little book shop, beachwear, drug store, and hardware store, and bank.
The white powdery sand beach goes on for miles from here, but this is the most private end of the island. No crowds, a short walk from your condo. The water is shallow quite far, which is why many people consider it a very safe beach.
If you are in the mood for excitement, you can rent small sailboats, WaveRunners, or go parasailing. If you just want peace and quite, we are secluded from this activity by a beautiful grove of mangroves.
This is the only golf course on the island, and is a short walk from you condo. Golf carts and equipment rental is available.
This lovely little island is a state park. You can rent bicycles, canoes, and kayaks, or simply hike around the many trails. Day passes are available.

We own a real estate company in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and we live in Minnetonka. We spend may weekends at our cabin in northern Minnesota, and we love spending time with our three children, and our grandchildren. If and when we retire, we'll stay in Minnesota near our family, but Ft. Meyers Beach will always be our paradise hideaway.

Sharon and I stayed at this property in October 11 through the 18, 2011. The condo is a great place to stay for a couple and is very well equipped. The pool area was under construction as they were re-surfacing it and the grounds were haveing new sod put down and they were practically finished with it. The view was great as it was just above the pool and you could view the ocean from the lani. I happened to be there during the construction as I said which was a bit inconvenient, however, the condo was really nice and I would stay there again and especially since the pool area is redone I am sure it is beautiful. I am looking forward to next year and will be looking at this same unit. Thanks Judy for all of your help and a beautiful place to stay!

We loved the view and being right on the Gulf. We never got tired of watching the dolphins and all the different water birds coming to feed. We'll be back next year.

I'm sure you hear this all the time, but your condo was even better than I expected it to be! I loved sitting on the balcony, enjoying the views. The unit had everything we needed right there. I recommend kayaking at Lover's Key to any of your guests.
