Built in local GORDES Stones with Roman tiles, the House feels suspended above the beautiful Luberon Valley. It has been remodelled, decorated, and furnished in a very elegant style with Antiques, Paintings, and lovely objects.
The garden, the terrace and all the rooms have a Panoramic Southern view facing the Luberon Mountain range and all the Villages.
The entire House is very bright with Southern exposure. The light colored stone floors inside and out, give the house a very open and airy feeling.
There is a lovely dining room with large glass doors that can be left open in summer - the perfect place to enjoy meals and the magnificent view.
The Master Bedroom has a double bed (2m x 1m80) with a dressing room, and a bathroom with a shower. Also in that bedroom, is a mezzanine that can be use as your "bureau" with your computer. The second bedroom has a double bed (2m x 1m60) with private toilet and Bathroom. This Charming Stone House is perfect for a Romantic couple (or two couples), who want to stay in the countryside, in the Village of GORDES, away from traffic and noises.
The swimming pool is 10 meters by 5 meters with a saltwater system. It is surrounded by Stone with four teak benches. This is a Perfect spot to enjoy a swim and to devour the Beauty of Provence. The grounds that surround the House and pool are filled with all the trees, plants, and flowers of Provence.
The price of the rental includes all utilities:
gas, electricity, towels, pool service, bed linen, satellite TV, ADSL internet, local phone calls, weekly housekeeper (six hours each week), and complete departure clean. Only extras phone calls will be extra charge.

When we rented the house for the first time last year we were greeted by Eric and Jean- the nicest landlords we have met; and we have rented often. They welcomed us with some nicely arranged products from Provence; during the time of our stay the front door name tag had our names on it; you cant feel more at home during your vacations! The house is wonderfully located with stunning views on the area of Gordes, meticulously kept and tastefully furnished and has every comfort you need. The garden offers different relaxing seating opportunities with views - one more beautiful than the next ( and even better than the pictures): a winter garden with a small pond in front of it, where you can sit protected when it is chilly or windy ; a terrace for long leisurely breakfast and dinners, the pool area, different benches for reading, dreaming and enjoying the soothing, wonderful garden…. The two weeks were a real pleasure!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

This was a wonderful property in the most beautiful location within walking distance of the village of Gordes. Amazing views from the house and gardens and the highest standard of comfort and decor in the house. Jean Marie and Eric were great hosts, quietly in the backround but always helpful and charming when we needed information or help.

This house and its surrounding property is so beautiful, we were thrilled when we arrived for our first visit. We have since returned two more times and each time, we havd a wonderful time. The pool and outdoor patio are wonderful and very relaxing. The second building with its upstairs sitting room was new for us last year and we really enjoyed sitting up there, reading, playing cards and listening to music. The kitchen is fully equipped and very modern. Everything about the property is wonderful, but best of all are the owners, Eric and Jean, who welcomed us into their home and did everything they could, each time, to make our vacation the best. The decor of course, with the beautiful antiques and art work, just made everything better! We cannot wait to return!

I was lucky enough to stay at this truly amazing home in September 2010, when my sister and I planned a weeklong trip to Provence for the two of us and our mother. The home is simpy beautiful...inviting, comfortable and in a fantastic location. It is furnished beautifully with an understated luxury feel and we felt very much at home there. The photos of the view do not even come close to doing the spectacular view of the Luberon justice...the views are simply amazing. Sunsets were beyond gorgeous. The gardens surrounding the home are equally stunning and there is a lovely outdoor patio with a dining area which we took advantage of in order to enjoy the great weather, sunshine and unbelievable views. Having a pool was so nice, and we enjoyed reading and relaxing poolside in the afternoons after some sightseeing in the mornings. The walk into the town center of Gordes was roughly 5 minutes. The owners lived nearby and met us upon our arrival at the home, and it was comforting to know that they were available if we had questions or concerns. For us, who hardly spoke any French at all, this was a relief! They gave us very helpful information on local markets, restaurants, etc. The location of Gordes was great for day trips and while using Gordes as our homebase, we took day trips to Cassis, Aix-en-Provence and other nearby towns. To get here, we flew into Paris, took the train from CDG to Avignon and from there it was an easy drive to the house in Gordes. The trip to Gordes and our stay at this exquisite home far exceeded my expectations and was one of the best trips of my life.
