In GORDES, "La Tour des Beaumes" is a Historic Tower from the 19th century, with an "Orangerie" and a private swimming-pool that feels suspended above the beautiful Luberon Valley. Enclose by typical Gordes old stone walls, the 2000 m2 grounds that surround the "Tower" and keep it very quiet and pleasantly secluded.
Gordes was the Village that inspired many very famous artists and painters in Provence since 1947, because its awesome beauty. Gordes is selected as one of the most Beautiful hill-top villages in France.
This "Tower" is an Authentic 19th century "Folie." "La Tour des Beaumes" with its "Orangerie", which is a nice Winter garden. A swimming-pool in the middle of Provencal Garden, with lots of shady tree, terraces, and a wonderful small old box-tree garden "à la Française". In the ground level, the tower offers, the Orangerie, a small kitchen, the Bathroom and toilets. In the first floor of the Tower is the Bedroom for two Adults.
This "Tour des Beaumes" gives you calm and a splendid southern Panoramic view to the Luberon Mountain and its Villages. In Gordes: Walking distance to the Castle and the Historic center of the Village, with lots of restaurants, shops, and all the little stone roads. At three kilometers away from the wonderful 12th century "Abbaye of Sénanque."

Important: The communication between the two floors of that Historic Tower has to be through the outside circulate Terrace and stairs.

Dear Jean and Eric, When we first saw the Tower on internet, we knew it was special, but when we arrived there, "special" had become " MAGICAL". You had thought of everything, the welcome food and wine, the helpful list and guides, etc,etc. .. We thought that we were so priviliged staying at the Tower ! Thank you so much for being the perfect hosts and for creating this special Place. We had enjoyed waking up the sound of the pond and the sun shining through the windows.
