South Seas is a 3000 square foot luxury beach home with partial views of the ocean from the third floor and just a stroll from the sugar white beaches and gorgeous emerald waters of Destin, Florida.
South Seas is located on the first beach street within the gated resort community of Emerald Shores, a tropical, family-oriented, beach ownership community of upscale homes, situated 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico.
You will enjoy the two large heated community pools, the close proximity to the beach, access to the beach pavilion, on-site tennis, basketball, shuffleboard and the security of gated entrances.
The privately owned beach pavilion is for owners and guests only and is accommodated by private bathrooms, outdoor showers, and beach service (chairs and umbrella). We're the only community in Destin with this feature! A beach tram operates seasonally within Emerald Shores.
We are close to restaurants, water sports, and centrally located between major golf courses and shopping. We are less than 2 miles from two of the largest shopping complexes in North Florida!
The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is the largest designer outlet in the nation and the newly opened Destin Commons is a unique, open-air village, featuring upscale shopping, casual and fine dining, and a 14-screen movie theater.
From South Seas, you can safely bike with the kids through the neighborhood and along the paved bike paths for awesome beach views, this being our favorite activity. Ask about beach bike delivery and pick-up to South Seas!
Your family can walk to various beach front restaurants including Captain Dave's On The Gulf, Kenny's Oyster Palace, The Crab Trap, or Pompano Joe's Seafood. These restaurants are so close and convenient to our home it allows you to effortlessly sample some of the local seafood flavors or to just kick back and enjoy the relaxing beach views while sipping on a frothy cold tropical libation.

A South Pacific themed three story luxury vacation home located about 125 yards from the beach (2 min. 45 sec. stroll) and is only two houses away from the main neighborhood pool.
The home has 3000 square feet with which to spoil yourself and overflows with luxurious upgrades including granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, 12 foot ceilings, tile/wood floors, two full-size refrigerators, commercial washer/dryer, two Jacuzzi tubs, 51" Plasma TV, two home theater surround sound systems, a game room with granite bar, refrigerator and microwave on the third floor.
The home features three luxurious Master Suites, with king beds and private baths, and an expansive 180 degree view of the area from the third floor balcony including partial ocean views. The fourth bedroom is a bunk bed extravaganza (twins/fulls sleeps six kids).
This is a great set-up for three families with the third floor game room providing a private TV and play area for the kids or it can be used as a fifth bedroom with the futon sleeper.
TV's are located in every room. A total of 6 TV's, Six DVD/MP3/CD’s and Two Home Theater Systems with wall mounted speakers are in the home. This includes a 51" Plasma flat screen TV in the 1st floor living room.
Ceiling fans are in every area (six total). The home has wireless high-speed internet access (wireless 802.11g or b). All of the amenities of being in your own home.
Large balconies, porches, and patios give you ample room to lounge around in a tropical paradise. The home is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac and is a very short walk to the beach, the large heated community pools, on-site tennis or restaurants.

We had a really great time. The accomadations, location and helpfullness of the owners exceeded expectations. We had six adults and eight children and everyone wants to go again next year. The pool, beach and tennis courts were all used several trimes. Shopping and restraunts were close by. Would highly recommend South Seas.

We loved the location. Very close to the beach. This house was designed for all ages. They had a babies travel bed and stroller. They had sand toys and boogie boards. When the owners tell you, all you need to bring is your beach towels they mean it! We served 14 for dinner and had plenty of room, dishes and cookware. I really did not feel the pictures showed the wonderful quality of the furniture and lovely bedrooms, living room and game room. I would recommend this home and would stay again!!

The house was absolutely beautiful. I have never rented a house before but when I vacation I will very likely rent a house. The house was very clean and close to anything that you could possibly want to do. The quietness of the community was wonderful. I would hope to come back and stay in your house again. My first trip ever to the gulf was Pensacola when my son was stationed at Pensacola Air Station. We drove to Panamha City and the beaches and the oceans were so much nicer that any of the beaches on the east coast. I have also been to San Diego and they were not as beautiful or memoriable as the Gulf. Thank you for letting us stay in your home for the week. The wedding that we came down for was beautiful. I would definitely recommend for anyone to rent in this area.

This was a great house with all the amenities that we needed. Was so nice that each of our children and their spouses had privacy on their separate floors....just fantastic! So close to the beach and appreciated the wagons for all of our beach gear! This vacation was amazing and we are already talking about plans for our "beach time" next summer! Love Destin and there are so many things to do here that we stayed on the go! Destin is the perfect vacation spot for everyone and we try to get back as often as we can. But we know where we will be staying when we return......loved it all!!! Thank you for sharing it with us!

This was our first time in a rental house. We vacationed with our family, 12 total and we had plenty of room for everyone. The owners were wonderful and the home was perfect. Great location to the beach, very easy walk! I would recommend this to any of my friends and family and hope that we can return again also!! Thank you Jay your place is beautiful!

South Seas was the fourth house and the fifth stay for us in Emerald Shores. We all felt it was the most accommodating of all our stays. All the labels and directions were very helpful. The extra refrigeration was most welcome, as was the large laundry equipment. The Port-A-Crib, and wagons saved us valuable packing space in our vans and were just what we needed. We also found a some items in the outside beach closet which we used and even a left a few of our items for other folks. One of the upper porch doors was somewhat hard to operate, probably due to salt air exposure, but we coached family to monitor it and ask for help if needed. I commend you, or who ever planned the house, on how the floor plan utilizes the maximum space on the lot. I searched and did not find another with the same plan of porches vs indoor space as yours.

The house and community were awesome. We really appreciated you calling and checking on us on Mon. I felt like you were available in case we needed you. That was a great touch. We had an incredible time and look forward to coming back. We would definitely stay in this house again. If we don't need a house that big, we will definitely try to stay in another house of yours. The house was exactly as you said it would be. It met our needs perfectly. The three levels were perfectly laid out for three families with children.
