South Seas is a 3000 square foot luxury beach home with partial views of the ocean from the third floor and just a stroll from the sugar white beaches and gorgeous emerald waters of Destin, Florida
We are located within the gated resort community of Emerald Shores, a tropical, family-oriented, beach ownership community of upscale homes, situated 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico.
You will enjoy the two large heated community pools, the close proximity to the beach, access to the beach pavilion, on-site tennis, and the security of gated entrances.
The privately owned beach pavilion is for Emerald Shores owners and guests only, and is accommodated by private bathrooms, outdoor showers, and beach service (chairs and umbrella). Beach tram operates seasonally within Emerald Shores.
We are close to restaurants, water sports, and centrally located between major golf courses and shopping. We are less than 2 miles from two of the largest shopping complexes in North Florida!
The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is the largest designer outlet in the nation and the newly opened Destin Commons is a unique, open-air village, featuring upscale shopping, casual and fine dining, and a 14-screen, stadium-seating movie theater.
From South Seas, you can safely bike with the kids through the neighborhood and along the paved bike paths for awesome beach views, this being our favorite activity. Ask about beach bike delivery and pick-up to South Seas!
Your family can walk to various beach front restaurants including Captain Dave's On The Gulf, Kenny's Oyster Palace, The Crab Trap, or Pompano Joe's Seafood. These restaurants are so close and convenient to our home it allows you to effortlessly sample some of the local seafood flavors or to just kick back and enjoy the relaxing beach views while sipping on a frothy cold tropical libation.

This new home (built 2004) is a South Pacific themed three story luxury vacation home located about 125 yards from the beach (2-3 minute walk) and is only two houses away from the main neighborhood pool.
The home has 3000 square feet with which to spoil yourself and overflows with luxurious upgrades including granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, 12 foot ceilings, tile floors, accent lighting, wood blinds, two Jacuzzi tubs, two surround sound systems, a game room with granite bar, refrigerator and microwave on the third floor.
The home features three luxurious Master Suites, with king beds and private baths, and an expansive 180 degree view of the area from the third floor balcony including partial ocean views. The fourth bedroom is a bunk bed extravaganza (twins/fulls sleeps six kids).
This is a great set-up for three families with the third floor game room providing a private TV and play area for the kids or it can be used as a fifth bedroom.
TV's are located in every room. A total of Six TV's, Six DVD/MP3/CD’s/six VCRs and Two Surround Sound Systems with wall mounted speakers are in the home. This includes two 32 inch TVs with surround sound in the downstairs living room and in the third floor game room.
Ceiling fans are in every area (six total). The home has wireless high-speed internet access (wireless 802.11g or b). All of the amenities of being in your own home.
Large balconies, porches, and patios give you ample room to lounge around in a tropical paradise. The home is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac and is a very short walk to the beach, the large heated community pools, on-site tennis or restaurants.

This is our 2nd year coming and a different house. Both homes were very well maintained, not a mark on the wall, not a spot of dust anywhere, wish I could keep mine to this level all the time. Very pleased - our in-laws came with us this time and they said that we are stuck with them from now on when we take our beach vacation. Kids had the best time! We love the laid back area as compared to the rest of Destin and prefer to cook in and relax. This house really allows for that.
