Our home is located in Loveladies, Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Loveladies is considered one of the premier communities along the Atlantic Ocean in New Jersey. Long Beach Island itself is an 18 mile barrier island off the coast of New Jersey.
Loveladies is on the Northern end of Long Beach Island and is very private. Lovladies is three miles from the northern most point (Barnegat Light). There are no boardwalks, no shops and no restaurants within the town of Loveladies-although plenty shopping and restaurants nearby.
From New York City it is approximately a two hour drive and about one and a half hours from Philadelphia.
Atlantic City and the casinos are about one hour south. Although Loveladies is very quiet. There are stores, many restaurants, convenience shopping, movies, miniature golf, etc. within a very short drive as you start to drive south to other towns on the island. In the summer, the population of the 18 mile island will grow to 100,000 to give you some idea that there is plenty to do on the Island.
Our home is a two minute walk to the beach on the Atlantic Ocean. A public tennis court is also two minutes from our house.
There are golf courses on the mainland and I am told it takes about 45 minutes to drive to many of them. (I am not a golfer)
There is plenty of fishing and crabbing in the bay and boats charter to take groups deep sea fishing about three miles north. Biking is plentiful on the island.
Sailing is also a popular sport in both the ocean and the Barnegat Bay.
Our house:
4 bedrooms (two bedrooms have queen size beds and two have two twins); 2 bathrooms; sleeps 8-10; The house has central air conditioning.
On the first floor is a large kitchen with dining area and counter and stools. The kitchen was totally remodeled a few years ago and has all modern conveniences including dishwasher and microwave and all appliances, etc. The floor is ceramic tile and is easy to maintain.
There is a TV room on the same floor that adjoins the kitchen.
Also on the first floor are two bedrooms and one full bath. On the second floor is another large family room; two more bedrooms and a second full bath.
The house has multiple levels of decks both in the front and the back. The decking and rails are new composite and vinyl in 2006. There is also a roof top fiberglass deck that we installed six years ago that offers a magnificent view of the Barnegat Bay (to the west) and of the ocean. (to the east).
There is also a washer and dryer and a storage bay in the garage. In 2004 we also installed a 16 by 22 foot brick paver patio in the backyard and have a hot tub placed on the paver patio.

Why the Owner Chose Loveladies
This house is a perfect location to beach, bay, and wonderful views and decks. Very private area but close to anything you would want at the beach.

My wife and I own our house and manage all rentals. We personally make sure each rental changeover that everything is satisfactory to the arriving tenant. I only live an hour from Loveladies so managing the property is no problem. We have added a number of improvements over the years based upon tenant feedback.

Beautiful, comfortable home, all amenities, gracious owners. House is in wonderful condition, perfect home that is spacious and gives plenty of privacy. Would recommend it highly.
