A cozy guest cottage located on two wooded acres shaded by huge live oaks and cooled by gentle marsh breezes. From the screened porch one can see a small marina across the water. Park like grounds with 300'marsh frontage lead to the crabbing dock where you might see dolphin swim by. A new addition is the 589ft dock for fishing or relaxing in the hammock catching the breeze. All just steps from your private pool and front door. PERFECT FOR A TWOSOME OR SMALL FAMILY.( Children over 7 yrs welcome )

Pets,too,enjoy their vacation with family. They have full run of 2 (two) fenced acres. Need to walk your dog in the early morning?? Just open the door and let him/her out. Unlike the gated communities- DATAW ISLAND,HARBOR ISLAND and FRIPP ISLAND -where they have STRICT leash laws your FIDO can run, play and be a DOG here. What a life !!!!

Comfortable furnishings in this cozy, well maintained, guest cottage have you feeling right at home. The recliner is sure to lull you to sleep while watching your favorite movie on the DVD. Or perhaps sitting in the living room with the glass sliding pocket doors fully open to the porch will capture all the fresh air and sounds.

If you enjoy awakening to glorious sunrises, seeing the moon's reflection on the water, listening to the marsh night creatures, or dining poolside... THIS IS THE COTTAGE FOR YOU. Beaufort with its interesting shops and galleries is 12 miles away and Hilton Head,Savannah, and Charleston are nearby for day trips of sightseeing.

For the athletic types - Running, Walking, and Biking are perfect with low country flatness. Golfers have a choice of five semi-private courses within 20 minutes of the cottage.   • Now that we have been back for a few days, both Ebie and I are still marveling at what a wonderful time we had at the cottage. I can not think of one single thing that we wanted for on our trip. Your hospitality was so gracious. Kammi, Rielley, Ralph and Jingles were an absolute delight to be around. Each one is uniquely lovable and truly make the cottage a complete home away from home. Thanks again for providing such a comfortable place for us. We know that Thomas has some memories that will be quite lasting.

We all truly enjoyed the marsh views, pool,beach and wildlife...There's nothing quite like cooking up a dozen freshly caught blue crabs for lunch, especially in such a picturesque setting.   • We have been fortunate enough to stay at the "Cottage" several times over the past two years and each time we leave, we start dreaming about our next trip. The home is lovely - very clean and comfortable - and the grounds enchanting. All topped off by JoAnn's warm hospitality and sweet, loving dogs. There's two docks - one small and one large - to fish, crab or boat from. A beautiful pool to relax around or in. A patio for dining or just relaxing and two bikes to ride. The beach is really close, sevearl great galleries and shops a few miles a way and lots to do in town. I expect your stay at the "cottage" will surpass your expectations - as it always does with us, each and every time we stay there. Can't wait to visit again. We miss those hugs and kisses from Ralph, Jingles, Cammie and Riley !!

  • We just returned from an idyllic few days in the "Cozy Cattage." The setting is beautiful and very restful. You can find activities to fill your days or just laze about in the fairytale-like setting. Not only are the accomdations lovely, but the company is beyond compare - especially the four-legged company! JoAnn is a very warm and gracious host, and her four-legged family is extremely loveable. We feel as though we've truly found a home away from home. We hated to leave. We definitely plan a return visit!

  • I spent a fabulous weekend at the cottage over Easter. The cottage was so comfortable and had absolutely everything you could need. The property was beautiful with the azaleas in bloom. It was such a peaceful and quiet weekend. The pool was very nice, little too cold to get in, but it was so clean and pretty. I spent several days sitting on the side reading or napping. A benefit of staying here was that I was able to bring my dog, Cooper. He had a great time with the other dogs and checking out the whole place. The cottage and property is VERY dog friendly. You are very close to the beach (about 6 miles or so) and local eateries. I hope to visit again soon. Thank you Jo Ann for a wonderful vacation.

  • Just got back from an awesome weekend getaway at the cottage. Though only an hour from Savannah, it felt like worlds away. So peaceful and relaxing, the site couldn't be more beautiful. JoAnn was a great hostess. We will be back!!
