My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the EVRC for the 3 nights we were in the area. The property was as advertised and suited our needs well. We loved having the fireplace for our use. The property owner was extremely informative and easy to work with. We enjoyed the spring skiiing at Vail. For dinner one night we tried out the Alpine Tavern located on the EVRC property and we were both treated to an excellent meal. This property was a great value and we would rent here again if we ever make another trip to Vail.
Owner response:Jason--thanks for the kind words. You were great to work with also. Yes the restaurant is quite good and the upstairs bar area is a nice place to go when you want something quick and more casual or live music. Judy

Perfect quiet units a for two couples ski vacation. Very clean. Great location, only about a 10 minute bus ride to Vail resort. Kitchen was stocked with the essentials, condiments, plastic baggies, tin foil. Living room has lots of movies to choose from if it was storm day. Had memory foam pads on the beds...like sleeping on a cloud! Only bummer was that you had to pay $10 a day a person to use the hot tub, even if you didnt want to use the rest of the club. Was worth it after a day of skiing but still a rediculous fee.Would recommend to others.
Owner response:Colin--Thanks for your review. Yes, it is unfortunate that renters have to pay the club fee and there is no way around that. I keep that in mind and try to keep the rental rates low. If you have a longer stay, you can get a 25% discount on club fees. Glad you enjoyed everything. Judy

My husband and I had a comfortable stay. The condo is has a cozy ambiance with comfy furniture. The heat worked well during the 20 degree weather, the kitchen with full appliances, and the internet worked well. The unit is a 3 min walk to the Vail Racquet Club Recreation Ctr. with a clean facility, well working fitness equipment, outdoor heated pool that was wonderful for doing laps in the 20 - 30 degree weather (it was snowing while we were swimming at one point - awesome!), two jacuzzi, and The Alpine Tavern (we did not get a chance to visit for a drink or eat). We took advantage of the nearby Safeway in West Vail for breakfast foods, 2 homemade dinners, and snacks. The rest of the time was spent skiing, eating sushi and pizza in Vail, and some bar hopping in Vail Village, Lionshead Village, and on top of the mtn at Eagles Nest (Eagle Bahn Gondolla). We used our car for shopping as well as getting to and from DEN airport, but you only need the free shuttle (3-5 min walk from this unit) for getting to Vail Village, Lionshead Village, golf course, and surrounding places. Goodtimes!
Owner response:Thanks for your review. It was very easy to work with you. I, too love the health club and pool. Swimming in the snow may not sound inviting, but it truly is wonderful! Also, FYI, the restaurant at the Racquet Club, the Alpine Tavern has been open for 3 years and is now quite good. It is nice to eat at the upstairs bar when you don't feel like cooking. Judy

This condo was accurately described. It was perfect for our Thanksgiving get away. Our children live in the area and we were able to gather around at a central location for meals and activities. It was easy to get around the area, Vail Village and City Market were close by for all our needs. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed. We were able to connect to the wireless without any problems. Judy was very helpful and answered our questions promptly. We would rent this condo again and would recommend it to others. The skiing was great at Vail and everyone was helpful. The Colorado Ski Museum in Vail Village is interesting. There were many stores to shop for whatever you need. We enjoyed ourselves.
Owner response:Thank you for your comments. I enjoyed being in touch with you as well. Thanks for treating my little getaway so nicely! Judy

My wife and I stayed in Judy's condo for four days in March, 2010, We had an excellent experience and enjoyed our stay. This is a nice warm place with a nice kitchen and amenities, such as a library stocked with DVD's, movies and games. The master bedroom has a comfortable bed and the two bathrooms were a nice convenience. It's in a quiet location with easy access in and out, with convenient transportation to Vail Village. I would recommend this condo, we will plan to stay there again in the future.
Owner response:Thank you for your kind comments. I am always happy to give a 10% discount to repeat renters. Thanks, Judy

We enjoyed the condo in Jan 2010 appreciated all the first class extras Judy provided--nice wineglasses, an IPOD player, tea, napkins, good light for reading and a great humidifier to use at night. We found the bus service on time and convenient.

My sisters and I spent 5 days in Judy's condo and loved the convenience and comfort of her place. So close to transportation and quiet, it was a real treat to begin and end each day there. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, great internet access, and we had a marvelous time playing cards, games, watching her DVDs in the comfort of the dining/living area. For us, it was superior to a hotel stay and we hope to visit Vail again and stay as Judy's guests!

My finacee and I stayed at Judy's condo in early December 2008. The condo was very clean and had all the necessities to cook on and eat with. It's located on the first floor of the complex, which made getting our things into the condo very easy. There is outside storage for your skis and boots as well, which was very convenient. It was a short walk to the bus stop, which takes you right down into Vail Village. Also, it's located on the bus route at such a location that you're usually one of the first ones on the bus, which is important during the busy ski season. Finally, the grounds crew kept the drives and walkways clear, even after "bad" weather, making it easy to get around. We would definitely stay at Judy's condo during our next trip to Vail, and would highly recommend it to anyone else seeking an excellent vacation value!!!

Judy's condo was very nice. It had all of the amenities you could need, including kitchen items. The condo was very clean and well maintained. It was on a low floor, less than 1 flight of stairs from the parking lot, which helped after skiing all day. I recommend the condo.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Racquet Club at Judy's condo. The location is an easy walk to the bus route but off the main road so there is not alot of traffic. The laundy was as close as walking one building over and the condo itself was very clean and in very good condition. Without a doubt we will stay here again.

We had a wonderful week at the Racquet Club. Judy was hospitable and helpful and left a well stocked kitchen. (There was more than enough coffee for the week). There was plenty of room for my husband and me and when our daughter came to visit we still did not feel crowded. I would definitely recommend this condo.

Enjoyed our stay! Very nice location away from the construction. Very easy to get to the Village either on Rt. 70 or Frontage Road. Nice king bed! Loved that there were plenty of staples in case one forgets. Did not hear any outside noise at all from Rt. 70. Perfect and reasonable place for two. We had 4 with us, but it was no problem. They slept on the couch with the topper and slept great. Judy was friendly and always available. Thank you!

A very comfortable place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of Vail (and the construction!) yet just a few minutes drive from the center of town. East Vail is really lovely and the Racquet Club is a wonderful place to stay. The Bighorn Bistro is first-rate too. The unit was very homey and the bed was super comfortable. King size too! Judy was extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

The condo is located in a quiet area and was clean and cozy. It is one of the few in the area with a king sized bed, which is a must for us. We enjoyed having a kitchen stocked with cooking and eating utensils and many staples. The broadband internet access was appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would rent again if in the area.

Vail is expensive for lodging,so it is great to be able to find reasonable accommodations in a great location, especially during Presidents Week. East Vail has the most convenient shuttle system with service every 15 minutes. We took a previous guests advice and stored our skis and boots overnight, steps from the lift-worth every penny. The condo was quiet and comfortable. We would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed our stay very much; all of our expectations were met. It was convenient that the owner was always available by telephone to answer questions that arose. Thanks for leaving the resturant guide to Vail. It was useful. Also, the resturant at the Racquet Club, Bighorn Bistro, is excellent. Guests who ride the shuttle might want to know that some of the ski rental shops near the Vista Bahn lift offer daily boot lockers and will store skis overnight.

Wow... a great place to be! Upon opening the door we immediately felt at home! This condo made a great ski trip even more affordable. The shuttles make it easy to get around even though the condo is not directly in the center of the village. Comfy beds, a pretty well stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace and the DVD player and stereo are great additions to make you feel even more at home! Thanks so much! We'll be back!!

This beautiful, clean and cozy condo is just perfect for a short or long stay. Equipped with everything you'll need to enjoy a comfortable stay, this place will make you feel right at home. My boyfriend and I enjoyed skiing at Copper which was just a little drive away. Afterwards we enjoyed the big heated outdoor pool, the hot tub and the sauna in the beautiful health club. We discovered a little gem and will definitely come back!

Three women on a girls weekend ... We loved the quiet location right on Gore Creek. The condo is very well appointed. Comfortable beds. Clean and plenty of space for all. The health club, massages, hot tubs and pool were fabulous! The quick drive to Vail and Beaver Creek was effortless, and we really enjoyed leaving the hustle and bustle to return to East Vail. Thanks!

I recently spent 4 nights at this condo while attending the Lacrosse Vail Shootout tournament with my son. The King bed was very comfortable and enjoyed being away from the construction and noise of Vail Village. The 10 minute drive to town for dinner was easy. The Club facilities were fantastic - better than my club at home. The owner was very easy to work with and overall it was a very pleasant stay. The cool mountain air at night and in the morning was great.

I and 3 friends spent 2 nights at this condo while taking a short vacation to ski at Vail. We were very pleased with the entire experience. The owner was very accomodating and easy to deal with. We were a little concerned with the location in East Vail in relation to the main lifts at Vail. But we found about a 10 minute drive to vail village and another couple of minutes to Lionshead. Parking was easy. There are also shuttles which stopped very near the condo but we never used them. The condo itself was in excellent condition. It isn't a huge place but we found plenty of room for 4 people. Our friends who slept on the pull out sofa said it was the most comfortable nights sleep they had ever had on a pull out. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast. Plenty of firewood was provided which we made good use of the first night. The racquet club itself was great. It does cost $10 a day for each guest to make use of the facilities. But it was well worth it to jump in the outdoor hot tub after a full day of skiing. Very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this condo as a good option for 1-4 people who want to save a little bit of money and don't mind driving a few minutes to the slopes in the morning.
