We had a wonderful week of skiing, great snow but of course visibility was an issue but hey, you can't have everything. Our very last day was a beautiful sunny day! The bed was VERY comfortable and the pillows too. We used the hot tub every day right after skiing and it was wonderful. Our only suggestion is that we recommend having utensils for the non stick pans.....they will last longer. Sharon & Cliff were great! We would stay again in your condo! Good home away from home. Thanks for the great accomodations...well maintained, clean, and nice comfortable bed. We had a great time skiing, and will definately return. We will recommend your place if we know anyone heading to Big White. Just one little problem with the underground parking, the ice build up and the level change into the parking lot almost took out the bottom of our van, and took a few attempts to get out. Thanks again. Colleen and Guy

This was our 3rd visit to your as always very nice and clean winter home. We arrived Sunday night on totally dry road all the way from Vancouver and when we woke up on Monday morning there was 30cm of white fluff and had been snowing another 30cm through Tuesday noon. From Wednesday till our last day was the cloudless blue sky with temperatures between -6 to -2C, perfect, just like you promised us. Thanks a million and hope to use your place next year again Cheers Lida and Jerry Kamaryt

We really enjoyed the comfortable condo and our skiing this week. We had 22cm of one night and 14 cm of snow during the day. Not much sunshine but great snow. The hot tub and fireplace really added to our winter vacation. (guest book comment)

The condo was pretty nice to read in and my mom kept on saying "This condo is so comfortable." I got to go to ski school a whole day and a half day, and I hae to say I think I liked thw whole day better. I also went skating two times and I practiced twirling. One time when I went on ridge rocket with my mom, and my friend and I was the only person who wasn;t afraid of speculation! We also went tubing and one time when I got to the bottom I was so dizzy I could barely walk, and one time my sister lost her going down (we got it back). Thanks for letting us use your condo!

This was our 23rd day on the mountain this year. We found your home on Allura Direct because we were looking at property for sale and the unit next door was listed so we thought we would try the building first. We loved it! Your home is very refreshing and comfortable and just the perfect size for the 4 of us. The king bed is the most comfortable we have slept in! 2 hour naps after spring skiing was fantastic. If we don't buy, we'll certainly be back. Thank you so much for sharing your home. (guest book comment)

This was our second trip to Big White however this time without any kids. We had snowy days, sunny days, 1 day of fog, and many great days of skiing. We also got one day of cross country skiing in and some tubing. The accommodations here are great and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for letting us stay. (guest book comment)

This is my first trip to Big White and we'll certainly be back! There are so many runs and areas to explore. The ski-in aspect of the condo was fabulous, allowing us to pop in for lunches. The kitchen was perfectly furnished. In the evenings we enjoyed two of your movies. Liar Liar and America's Sweethearts, very funny! We didn't see any of Big White's famous fresh snow, but that made the driving easy. We also enjoyed the fireworks and a few games of pool at the Happy Valley Lodge. There was nice live music! The ice skating looked fun and also the beautiful Clydesdale horses giving sleigh rides. Thank you for sharing your ski home.

Hi Amy and Joe, Just a quick email to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your condo at Big White. We love the Mountain and have made it almost a tradition to go up before or after Christmas and then at Spring Break with some friends. Your place was lovely. It was just perfect for the three of us. Ren and I are tall and the King size bed was wonderful. Thank you again. Happy New Year and thank you again. We would love to stay at your home away from home again.

The suite was lovely. It accomodated me, my husband and our son in fine style. It was one of the best appointed suites we've stayed in at Big White, and I would certainly recommend it to other people. Comfy beds, every cooking utensil you'd need, fluffy towels and even an in- suite washer/dryer. Really lovely. Thank you.

We loved the apartment, comfortable and well supplied, with a convenient location. The price also was very fair. The apartment is better in reality than it looks on the website. One suggestion is that a few more hooks in the bathroom would be useful. Thank you for having us in your apartment. All the best, (guest book comment)

1st visit to Big White and we were overcome with the charm of the mountain and its people. Being able to remove teenagers from their "plugged-in" life on the computers and game stations for family fun on a quite, snow-covered hill was magical. Enjoyed the unit, had all we needed, would check-put the market for lunch (better than the main lodge). I will definately tell other Oregonians about Big white. Perhaps one day we will into as many people from Oregon as from Australia! Cheers!

We could not have chosen a more perfect location for the first week of our married lives. Big White was everything (and much more!)that we were looking for and your condo was absolutely fabulous. Though we had to wait five days for our first "blue day", the incredible powder made up for a lack of visibility at the top of the mountain. The depth of the snow base (300+ cm) astounded us, even up to our last day. We can highly recommend hooking up with a free Snow Host. Our host, Ric, took us to the top of the Alpine T-bar, even though vis. was down to about 5 meters, if that! His knowledge of the mountain made it possible to find our way down to the Gem, where we haf most of the runs to ourselves. Amy & Joe, thank you so very much for the use of your condo. Facilities were top-notch and Melissa and I are dreaming of the day we can get back over here. Many thanks!

This is our 20th visit to Big White since 1977 and the best accomodation we ever had at Big White. We really appreciate that you let us use your beautiful winter home here in beautiful B.C. First 3 days we had the famous Big White White-Out with falling snow, but the 4th day made up for it, -1 degree C, sunny and 25 cm of the best powder B.W. is known for. Let's hope that tomorrow, our last day will be as good as the 4th one. Cheers!

Thanks very much for your kind hospitality. Place was exactly as described and photographed - very clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. As slightly tentative intermediate skiers, we found the ski-in/out onto the Hummingbird run no problem. The Legacy complex is well maintained and well located. We were lucky with conditions in early-mid Feb, with enough fresh powder and relatively mild and clear weather. Resort itself is pretty laid back, and just large enough to keep it interesting for a week or so. Would definitely advise people to buy groceries in Kelowna if they're coming for more than a week.

GREAT WEEKEND GETAWAY! The snow was unreal and the sun was out. Can't wait to come back. Thx. This was my second time snowboarding and I had a great time (minus the terribly sore tailbone from wiping out). Snow and sun was awesome. Came up here with a bum knee, but thankfully it endured another day of punishment on the slopes, without further injury :) Thanks for a great weekend. Looking forward to coming back again!

Well Big White was BIG! We had over 90 cm of snow during our stay and everyday was a great powder day. Karin finally discovered what the 'boys' love about skiing. Many thanks to the Ski School for making her first experience so great. Many memories - Dinner at the Swiss Bear, cupcakes from the Bakery, the 'experience' of Snowshoe Sam's and of course the apartment - so well located and appointed. Not so great - Ski Dazzle management view of customer service... Overall, fantastic place and we hope to return. I never thought that I would actually ENJOY skiing, but I have. This has been a great holiday and we're sad to be leaving. Thank you Amy for your fabulous apartment. It had everything that we needed.

Our first day of skiing was sunny and beautiful! Lots of great green and blue runs for the girls. The second day was snowboarding and the last few days --white out. We'd like to come back when there's more snow. Kevin really enjoyed skiing with Joe. Thanks for letting us visit the Legacy. Happy Holidays!

We hit the jackpot! Fantastic weather, lovely and comfortable accomodations, and great snow - of course, being early in the season, we could have used a bit more snow. Regardless, we skied every single day and had a wonderful time! Stupendous and breathtaking view from everywhere on the mountain was also greatly enjoyed! As for the matress - it was so comfortable that we will have to go home and buy the exact same kind! All the staff at the resort are very friendly & helpful, and that goes double for the Legacy managers, Sandra & Neil! We will certainly recommend the whole experience to our friends! Thank you for sharing your condo! (guestbook comment)

We had an absolutely wonderful ski holiday. The ski conditions were perfect - fresh snow and sunshine! This is a terrific mountain as it has something to offer all types of skiers. We expereinced the best glade skiing all over the mountain. The condo has totally suited our needs and the ability to ski-in, ski-out has been wonderful. We will certainly come back! Thank you Joe & Amy for sharing your condo.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo. At Big White we found ourselves taking our first guided mountain tour with one of the Big White snow hosts and it was exceptional. No loss of time on the slopes, steady, informative skiing. Day 3 of our skiing we awoke to a few inches of fresh powder. Our vacation also included Whistler and Sun Peaks. Big White won gold with our accomodations but we found the village a bit lacking when compared with Whistler and Sun Peaks. (guestbook comment)

We had a wonderful holiday at Big White. Your apartment was just perfect for the 4 of us. My sister and brother-in-law were most impressed after spending a week in the Alps earlier this year, in a place a quarter of the size and for double the price. Your condo was absolutely spotlessly clean and in a great location (once I over-came my fear of the first little hill!) Thanks for everything Chris

Snow limited our visibility of this beautiful place, but hey did I say snow? We had two great ski days followed by the hot tub to ease sore muscles and warm up. We had a terrific dinner at Swiss Bear and highly recommend it. We found the Copper Kettle much less satisfactory and the same amount of money. A sure sign of a good trip - we want one more day! Of course it is sunny . . . (guestbook comment)

Perfect skiing and snowboarding conditions, worth the horrible drive up! Snowed the day before we left and snowed the whole way up here, but we were determined to get up here. It was Klint's first time snowboarding ever and he has a tip for any one else who's just starting out - spring for a private lesson. It might cost more but you'll come out better for it. Thanks for an awesome holiday. The first thing we're going to do when we get home is buy a king size bed!

Aloha! Thanks for visitng our website. We are Joe & Amy Kindrich from the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Who would have ever thought that we would chose a winter retreat to the champagne powder snow at Big White Ski resort over our sunshine and beaches here in Hawaii? On our very first visit, we fell in love with all that Big White Ski resort had to offer and couldn't leave without purchasing our very own ski condo escape (Legacy #309). We love Big White so much that we bought a second condo right next door (Legacy #308). The snow is pure powder; no lines & no wait; lots of activities so you never get bored; people are warm and friendly; and ski-in/ski-out. Joe views Big White as a huge winter playground. He is an advanced skier and enjoys the challenges of the mountain terrain. Amy is a beginner skier that can find a green run off of every lift. However, Amy prefers to twirl on the ice skating rink. Our dream is to create a family tradition of winter FUN! We absolutely LOVE our Big White home and hope that you will, too. Thank you for visiting our site and for considering our home for your next vacation.
