Palm Tree Paradise is a newly renovated house located on a quiet street on the thin barrier island of Indian Rocks Beach. The location is great: the blocks are small (three houses), and you will be three blocks from the sand, two blocks from a number of great restaurants and taverns, and just one block from a tennis court, baseball field, and basketball court. One of the photos shows our house, and a view down the street of a beachfront condo; the purpose is to let you know that you are very close to the sand, but are off the main drive, so it is quiet. The theme throughout the house is palm trees.
You will not have to drive this entire trip. There are many restaurants in the area - good ones, with a range of prices. Also, there is a scuba shop, ice cream shop, and a convenience grocery shop just a few blocks away.
If you want to get in the car, Orlando (Disney, Sea World) is about 90 minutes away, Tampa (Busch Gardens, Ybor City) is about 30 minutes away, and Tampa International Airport is about a half an hour away. Clearwater International is about 15 mile away. We are about three miles south of Clearwater Beach, and 15 miles north of St. Pete Beach.
