We had a wonderful time! Our only regret is that we could only stay one night. :( My mother loves this place! We will be back! Thanks for booking us at the last minute. Major great place & time.

Had a wonderful time. the cinnamon buns were delicious. Had lunch at the CJ Beach House. Took a drive to the windery and cheese factory. We had a great time. I celebrated my 65th birthday with my husband and dear friends, C and B from Vancouver, B.C. You have a real nice cottage and we were right at home. Thanks.

Vancouver Olympics, 2010 We stayed at Lora's Cottage and it was such a nice, cozy place to live Thank you! We were very impressed. It was clean, all the little things needed were at the cottage. We look forward to coming back to this beautiful cottage. It made our Olympic experience more memorable.

Delightful cottage! We appreciated (and made good use of) the guidebooks. Birch Bay was our home away from home for many day trips. Thanks for the cinnamon rolls! A day without sunshine means more to us now.

Yo, where are the cinnamon rolls?!?!?! Although the weather wasn't always on our side, the sunsets did appear and it was beautiful. We've lived in B.C. for many years and this was our first time in Birch Bay. Who knew how lovely it was!? Your cottage was very cozy and the stove was always nice and hot. The best part was sitting on the front porch and taking walks by the water. Went to the markets and gift shop nearby and everyone was really friendly! Thank you for the place!

Thanks for the cottage and your cottage was great! We had a wonderful time here. Our families felt home sweet home. We all loved the surrounding and the beach/bay. We all hope we'll come back again and live in this same, and lovely cottage again!! (There is a lovely drawing of the yard with BBQ, picnic table, tree, shells, fence & people. Thank you!)

Thank you very much for the lovely stay, the cottage is so cute and I want to take that blue rocking chair home with me! Although it was extremely hot I still had a wonderful sleep. Hope to come back soon!

"Second annual" week @ the Beach with the grandchildren. Had a ball! Cabin was terrific! Clamming was fun - gramma & grampa had to eat them all! Still haven't found the cinnamon buns--? Did you hide them?? See you next July - (owner's note - We used to only offer cinnamon rolls during off season for getaways figuring summers people come anyway, but people like to read our guest book and wisdom had it that we looked terribly unfair! So 2010 all summer guests are offered cinnamon rolls free with their stay :) :)

We loved the cute cozy cottage, and the nice warm cottage was perfect with the wood stove. Our son, though deprived of video games was certainly fond of the flat screen & surround sound. It was very nice of the weather to cooperate, very little rain, and though chilly it exceeded our expectations. We would have loved to see this place before the condos began being constructed across the way. I am sure much more serene & private. Our daily viewing of the bald eagle (we named him Eddie) right on the beach was more than cool!! But...were we supposed to get cinnamon rolls? Would have loved them, but perhaps next time. Thanks

I was thoroughly amazed at the quality and comfort this little house offered - everything we needed was here. My partner took me here on a surprise trip and it was a lovely stay. I also learned that in the states you don't call it a "washroom" but rather a "bathroom." Very interesting.

We had a great time - SH :) We stayed here at Lora's Cottage December 26 - 28th, and what a nice cozy place it was to continue our Christmas celebrations! It was still snowing when we got here, but has warmed up and melted off all the snow. We didn't mind spending our weekend indoors, staying warm by this wonderful wood stove! We look forward to coming back to Birch Bay during the summertime, and doing a lot more exploring along the beach. (We also look forward to the litttle gift shop down the street opening back up in the Spring.) We would recommend doing all your grocery shopping before heading into Birch Bay, as the market down the street is pretty overpriced. We did enjoy renting some DVD's from them though-good selection! Saturday night we had a great dinner at "CJ's Beachhouse"--We highly recommend it! All in all, we loved staying here, and only wish the weekend hadn't gone by so fast. Merry Christmas! (owner's note; Birch Bay Square now has a market as you get off I-5 to go to Birch Bay. This is a good quality market and prices are reasonable)

Wow! What a great retreat with my very pregnant daughter. A last little HaRaw before our first grandchild is born. Cozy & comfortable. We were graced with a beautiful sunset. Sticky buns were a nice touch. Next time we will stay much longer than one night. Thank you and Happy Holidays see you next year. Cheers Wish we were staying longer than one night. Wonderful, cozy place. love the heaters everywhere! Beautiful area to stay. Cinnamon buns were great. Thanks so much!

Clean & cute! We used this as a base for so many day trips, too bad it was an unusually dreary, rainy week for August. A little crowded for 5 adults. We may have come the farthest so far.

Thank you so much for our stay. The cottage was lovely. Everything was clean and tidy thank you. Although would have been useful to have more tourist attractions, and to give the kids some things to do. But great cottage - it was an enjoyable stay. Thank you X

I had a great week! It was a great break from the heat back home. Heat wave for this area but an escape none the less! The house was very inviting and comfortable. I want to take the blue chair home with me! The covered porch was a place to congregate and mingle. The area has tons to offer, too much stuff to see. Maybe I'll come back again. Thanks for the memories!

We really enjoyed our stay here; the kitchen has everything; loved the large sink. The BBQ. was GREAT, Did most of our cooking outside. The beds were so comfty. We all loved the Bay, although I wish Birch Bay could have had a bigger groc. store. Still paying $299 for a 18 pack of Beer is good, as a 24 pack of Canadian beer costs $41.99. The weather was great +22 - 30 with no rain; perfect weather for swimming in the ocean. Really enjoyed having a campfire on the beach ---thank you for the beautiful cottage :)

What a peaceful, quiet hide-away! We saw eagles fishing at low tide, and enjoyed a mostly sunny but brisk, windy afternoon. Warmed up by the fire, had a nice italian dinner around our cute little dining table; finished off with sparkling cider in your beautiful crystal wine glasses. We didn't even turn on TV or listen to music; we just enjoyed the silence. Oh, and the cinnamon rolls! what a way to start a day! Thanks for a great weekend! PS Thanks for having the fire going when we arrived!

Such a lovely place! The autumn weather was cooperative and I did quite a bit of outdoor exploration as well as a fair amount of walking. It's been restorative and that was my main wish for this week. Thanks!

The improvements were a nice touch. The new beds are really comfy! We really enjoyed being so close to the beach. Our kids dug horse clams and we collected cottle clams. What a fun and relaxing get-a-way!

What a beautiful area. The weather is great, the sights are fantastic and the people are the best. The peace and solitude of the cottage was just what we needed and very comfortable. Thank you - you have done a great job setting up here especially the kitchen! By the way, nobody should miss Mt. Baker - it is breathtaking. Well, back to Texas but we hope to be here again in the near future. Shalom & God bless, the 2 W. Families

Thanks for the beautiful cottage - home away from home! Everything we needed for some R-N-R. Kids had lots of fun from the water slides & go - carts, games of touch football & bocci - ball. Mom & Dad loved the comfy bed! Thank you again - 4 nights wasn't enough though. See you again hopefully next year!
