this was the cleanest and brightest shorehouse that ive ever rented.it truley was like living in someones home . i brought my dog and we both had a great week! just a 5 minute walk to the ocean, and a 10 minute drive to the boardwalk at seaside! caught crabs right in the back yard, and plan on doing it again next year!

Recommended for:Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful vacation! We loved working with the owners, Russ and Barb, who are super friendly. The house is so beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view from the back is breathtaking, and the deck was perfect for crabbing and feeding the ducks. We could easily walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. It was a short drive to Point Pleasant, and we all enjoyed going to the boardwalk. An added plus was the neighbors, who were very welcoming. Everyone was so sad when the week was over. We would like very much to become regular customers and look forward to working with Russ and Barb again soon!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

The house was wonderful, it suited my family needs well. Unforuntenly the back yard was a shared back yard with the tenants down stairs.The tenants down stairs had 3 dogs that were not leashed and were a part of my vacation The male tenant dowstairs became rude, threating towards myself were i did not feel comfortable being at the property. The owner of the property tried to devues. but i was not happy with the situation.....the owner was a wonderful person and i enjoyed all my conversation with him...

Owner response:We were very sorry to hear of this incident. We have been renting our vacation home for 6 seasons now, and this is the first time anything like this has ever happened. It was a holiday weekend and the people downstairs and their guests left on Monday leaving the remainder of the week for the enjoyment of our guests.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

My family stayed here for a week in June, and our expectations were exceeded right from the first impression. The house is terrific-- what a spacious, immaculately clean, lovely beach home. It was roomy enough for a family, the kitchen was well-stocked for preparing meals at home, all the windows made the breezes feel great as they cooled the house, and having 2 bedrooms face the lagoon was very nice. The deck is peaceful and lovely. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. Everything was great, and we plan to return.

I stayed here twice last year in the fall and was MORE than 100% satisfied. It was wonderful and peaceful. Very well kept house with all amenities. Sitting in the comfortable lounge chairs on the dock in the evening is magnificent!
