This beach house has five bedrooms (four on the second floor, one on the third, loft on the fourth) with an elevator. The house is in immaculate condition, completed in November, 2003. There are hardwood floors throughout the house, beautiful kitchen cabinets and appliances with solid surface countertops, wetbar with ice maker, two master bedrooms, 37 inch TV with Direct TV (three additional TVs as well), and a screened porch.
The kitchen, dining, great room and master bedroom are on the top floor and open up to a deck that has breathtaking views of the marshes and Harbor River. Two of the downstairs bedrooms open up to a screen porch with the same view. The screen porch has 2 outdoor daybeds for great afternoon naps! You will have access to the Harbor Island Beach and Racquet Club. Also, the house comes with a golf cart and several bicycles.
Located in the private, gated community of Harbor Island, just 15 minutes from historic Beaufort SC. The home, at the end of a cul-de-sac, has a panoramic view in the rear of the marshes which are teeming with wildlife and the Harbor River.
To the front is a great view of the ocean. The rear deck is a great place to enjoy one of the most fantastic sunsets you will ever see. At the other end of the cul-de-sac is beach access to several miles of quiet, uncrowded beach on the Atlantic Ocean.
This smoke-free house has five bedrooms plus a loft and sleeps 13. There are two master bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen bed. Two additional bedrooms have queen beds, and one bedroom has a bunk bed and a trundle (three twins). There is also a loft with a day bed and pull out trundle. In summary there are 3 queens, 1 king and 5 twins. In addition to the beds inside the house there are 2 daybeds on the screen porch where some of our guests have enjoyed sleeping.
The Great Room has two full sized sofas with a large dining table that seats eight. In addition, there is a bar that seats an additional four. There is also a pack-n-play crib.
We have a very large, fully equipped kitchen with Silestone counters and new appliances with plenty of room to handle large families. The house comes with all linens provided and is professionally cleaned after each rental at no additional charge.
Harbor Island is a 1700-acre island about 15 miles east of Beaufort SC directly on the Atlantic Ocean and is a private gated community with over two miles of private beaches. The island is uncrowded and a great place for families. There are several golf courses nearby as well as Hunting Island State Park.
You have access to the Harbor Island Beach & Tennis Club which has an oversized pool, kiddie pool, tennis courts, fitness center, weight room, playground, volleyball court, snack bar, and basketball area. There is also a full service Day Spa available on the island. |
