We have lots of dockage and a huge covered boat house. We are located in a waterfront paradise in the heart of Pine Island, just minutes to Boca Grande Pass.
There is shopping and a full service marina close by. Boat rentals and restaurants are close also.
It is a great place to just sit and fish off the dock and enjoy the views down the canal.
World class kayaking for beginners or experts! Lots to see and do!
It is home of the largest tarpon population in the world and some of the most scenic waterfront vistas. Our home is nestled in the fishing village of Bokeelia on the Northern tip of Pine Island. Also Pine Island offers some of the best bird watching found anywhere.
Access to open water, gorgeous sunsets, and some of the most beautiful natural environment is only two minutes straight down the canal.
Trout, Reds, snook, mackerel, tarpon and flounder are abundant in this pristine estuary called Pine Island Sound, Matlacha pass, and Charlotte Harbor. Cayo Costa State Park is just minutes away - some of the most beautiful beaches on the West Coast of Florida.
Don't forget to stop by the tiny island restaurant called Cabbage Key. This charming historic restaurant is one of many unique waterfront places to eat accessible by boat.
Our charming canal front three bedroom, two bath home is newly and completely renovated with all new furnishings and will comfortably sleep 8 people. All bedding, Linens are brand new.
You will enjoy the very open Kitchen Living and Dining area which has plenty of space for entertaining. The sunporch is an enclosed concrete block room with windows on all sides - great breeze and lush landscaping.
One of the unique features of the property is the completely covered and huge two-boat boat house that is connected to the main home, where you can park your Boat or boats away from the elements. We also have additional dockage all along our 90 feet of seawall.
An extra large fish cleaning stations and a gas Weber grill will help you deal with the day's catch.

This place was amazing- better than can be captured in pictures. It has been very well kept and is very clean. The owner provided great, fast, friendly communication. Everything was in good working order and it was a very comfortable stay. My husband was in love with the covered boat dock and enjoyed that the location of the residence was not far at all to the great fishing spots! We wanted to stay longer once the end of our trip came. We will be back again!!!!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway.

My family and I stayed here over Christmas 2011, and had a hard time leaving! My kids were able to fish anytime they wanted to, the wild-life was amazing, needless to say I will definately stay here again. Bring a kayak to cruise the canals if you plan to stay here-or there is a neighbor across the street that rents them out. There was plenty to do-from kayaking to hiking to just hanging out and watching the fish swimming in the canal. Great place to stay if you like to fish. The owner of the property is very easy to reach, although we really didn't have any issues. The house is very well maintained. We really enjoyed having a washing machine and dryer-since there was three teenagers and one pre-teen. The appliances were either new or extremely well maintained-no complaints there. My only complaint is that I should of brought my boat!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We spent a month here in the winter of 2011. We found it a beautiful home that anybody would love visiting. It is quite spacious, with large living areas and bedrooms. It is delightfully quiet, with about the only sound being the occasional mullet splash from the canal it is on. Almost every morning I climbed into my kayak tied up in the covered boat house and set out to explore the nearby mangrove bays. Within a 10 minute paddle I was photographing several types of herons, egrets, ibis, osprey and other bird types. From a kayak you can paddle to within as close as about 20 feet without disturbing them. At night the skies were incredibly dark, as dark as we have seen anywhere. It was a life changing experience for us in that we fell in love with Pine Island and have now purchased a home on the island for the winter months, though not as nice as this one. I can't imagine why anyone would not like this beautiful home for their vacation. It is very clean and well maintained.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

About the owner: Pam and I both love to connect with nature. We like to take in the beauty while walking or boating. Bokeelia and Pine Island give us lots of opportunity to do what we like. When we found quiet friendly Bokeelia in 1990's we fell in love with the area.
Why the Owner Chose Bokeelia:
The neighborhood is full of friendly folks. The atmosphere is quiet and full of natural beauty. Lots to see and do! It is a reflection of Florida's more relaxed coastal living. It is like going back in time.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This is simple easy relaxed living! Take a walk, have coffee by the water. Watch the osprey or eagles and have breakfast. Kayak or boat the calm waters. Take a few photos and then have lunch at a fun seafood place on the water.
