This comfortable penthouse is located in Playacar phase two.
Centrally located in the Riviera Maya so you can visit and enjoy many of the popular attractions in the region.
Approximate distance to the ferry for Cozumel- 5 min short drive
Approximate distance to X-caret- 15 min. drive
Approximate distance to Xel-Ha- 25 min. drive.
Approximate distance to Tulum- 60 min drive.
Approximate distance to famous "La Quinta" 10 min drive.
Approximate distance to Resort beach club 5- 10 min. drive.

This is your home away from home. It has 3 bedroom/2 bath,(sleeps 6) There is a air mattress available for person #7 or #8. Maximum 8 people. Small terrace with a hammock and sitting area. Solarium with small private jacuzzi, cell phone, VIP card for you to have access to the resort beach club. At the resort you can enjoy all the ammenities available and at the end of the day have the privacy and space of your home in the penthouse.

The beach at the resort is about 1 mile. The local beach is about 3/4 mile.

The Resort Reef Club offers daily recreational activities, such as (dancing lessons, aerobics, two pools, kid's club, pool volleyball. There is also a diving center and massage center managed by the resort. Free use of lounge chairs, showers, umbrellas & palapas.

The resort also offers an all-inclusive deal (all you can eat and drink, including alcohol. It can be purchase by one day or 1/2 day, the cost approx. is $35 a day/per person, children $15 a day. The All- inclusive at nightime starts at 6 p.m. includes dinner and show.

There are Public beaches in downtown; Coco beach,mamitas beach, Toucan beach. At this beaches you can bring your cooler with drinks and snacks.

  • This was the 2nd time we have stayed in Penthouse Romeo. This was a extended trip for us, Jan. 2nd to Jan. 18th 2009. We had our 2 adult kids and their significant others along this time. Penthouse Romeo is in a great complex in Playacar. You get access to the Reef Club which is a great resort right on the beach. You have the option of purchasing an All-Inclusive option at the Reef Club for $35/day. We did that many times during our stay. The Condo is clean and roomy with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen and washer and dryer. It's about a 15 minute walk into PDC and 5th Ave. Sometimes we walked, other times we would grab a cab, about $5. Owners are great. Highly reccomended for an, "Off Beach" alternative to the pricy beach resorts.

  • Hermoso departamento. Muy limpio, cómodo y bien equipado. Dispone de un telefono celular y acceso a internet (con un costo adicional). La ubicación es muy buena. Disfrutamos mucho el beach club del Reef. Es conveniente alquilar auto, aunque los taxis se consiguen muy facilmente. Los propietarios, Francisca y Nicolás han sido muy amables y se preocuparon hasta por el más mínimo detalle. Hemos pasado unas memorables vacaciones. Sin dudas lo recomendaría a mis amigos.

  • Had a wonderful stay in this condo! The owners, Nic and Fran, are extremely responsive. I told them about a small leak in the apartment and they sent someone to fix it right away. Chema, the property manager, was also very responsive and easy to get a hold of. Some of the major perks: clean and spacious condo, lots of towels and linens for guests to use, washer/dryer, good sized kitchen with water provided for guests. Cons: the only con was that it was not right on the beach or walking distance to Quinta Avenida. But we had a car, so it was not really a problem. Had a wonderful time and will stay here again when planning my next trip to Playa!

  • Excellent apartment, warm hospitality, Great!!! We have stayed at the Penthouse Romeo just last week. It was excellent. The apartment was very convienient for us (we have 4 kids, so it fitted us perfectly). Kitchen is fully equipped. Washing machine and dryer were useful as well. The Jacuzzi above (private), the pool down and the reef club entrance further made our stay enjoyable. All the bedrooms have hammoc hangers, so it's cool if you have already got one (as they also carry a hammoc in the penthouse). Nick and Francisca did provide us with all directions and tips which were very useful. TV, DVD player and movies, quite. What else... Excellent and warmly recommended, Mr. Moriel, NJ 4/5/07

  • The condo was so nice and we really had a great time on spring break. We made friends with the security guys too! The location is very near by the beach and other resorts and is very much walkable (though we chose to rent a car). Great place, would definintely come to Nick and Francisca again!

  • We really enjoyed to stay at your place, it was just perfect! Very clean, nice, confortable and the best was that all the places we wanted to visit were so close from the Pent house, we would just drive werever we needed to go and had a wonderful time. I really apreciated the way Nicolas and Francisca (owners) approached us with such frendliness manners, I felt like I was talking with people I already knew, very nice people!! I recomend this place, you will feel super! and the kids will enjoy too!

  • Thank you for letting us stay at your condo. Everything exceeded our expectations! We could not believe the great location in Playacar. Not being right on the ocean did not matter a bit, because we were able to hop into a taxi just around the block and pay 5 dollars to get to use the beach beds, palapas and the pools at Reef Club for free. (We have two very young children and did not want to walk) I also wanted to add that the brand new spa was something out of a dream... I also got a 20% discount because I told them that I was renting a condo in Playacar and not staying in a hotel. On a practical note, having a washer and dryer at the condo was fantastic and we could not have been happier with your management person Chema. If we had any questions at all, we just picked up the cell phone you left for us at the condo and he would pick up. Taking a shower under the stars in your private rooftop jacuzzi area and swinging in the hammock on your patio were my favorite activities at your condo. Our 3 year old loved swimming in the association pool that we could see from your patio and he also liked watching cartoons in the morning in Spanish via your satellite dish. The town of Playa del Carmen is very charming, shoppimg was fun, people watching great and best of all, there were probably hundreds of restaurants to choose from. A taxi there cost 3 dollars. One more thing that we really appreciated is that nobody harassed us about purchasing a timeshare. We will definitely be back!
