This beautiful house, modeled after a typical Southern home, attracts families to its serene location each week. Upon arrival you will be greeted by a newly built home that can fit your family or families within its decorative walls. This five bedroom, five bath, smoke-free house can comfortably sleep up to 12 people.
Once you have the chance to catch your breath in front of the house, you will be able to step into a picturesque backyard. Your view will be of a scenic lagoon with active wildlife. Children or water lovers will find themselves standing on a teak deck, which contains a pool and a hot tub. Adults who wish to read or cat nap outside have the luxury to do so within a screened in and decorated porch.
The main or first floor of the home contains a kitchen, dining room, living room with a full entertainment system, bathroom, washer and dryer and a hallway, which leads to the master bedroom. The master bedroom contains a king size bed, private bathroom and Jacuzzi. The master bedroom also has a flat screen TV with a built in DVD player.
The second floor will lead you to the four other bedrooms. Three with queen size beds and one room of two single trundle beds. In addition to the downstairs washer and dryer, you will also find an upstairs washer and dryer for your convenience.
All bedrooms are stocked with the finest quality lines, as well as towels. Each of the queen size bedrooms have TVs also.
In addition, the house is located only one block from the beach. There is easy access, just a three minute walk, to Carolina's breathtaking novelty, the beach, where loved ones can spend time swimming in the calm ocean or basking in the sun. Just cross the lagoon via foot bridge and you will find the beach entrance steps ahead of you.

You really can't go wrong with this fantastic home and perfect location! We rented from March 30 to April 6th...not perfect weather, but the Kiawah environment and this home made the trip from Buffalo well worth it. When they say the home is close to the beach....they mean it. We had 4 small children ( 5years old and younger ) - walking to the beach took only a few minutes. We had 6 adults and 4 children...all adults had separate bedrooms / bath...the home could not have been more comfortable or maintained. The home location is secluded, but close to the bike path to the beach...which was perfect for us. Everything about this home is first class and well done - kitchen, hot tub, pool, decorations....and most important to us....very comfortable. We would highly recommend this home to all...we will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We have rented for many years at Kiawah, but needed a home big enough for a very special family reunion with our married children. We were attracted by the photos of your beautiful home and were familiar with its location so close to the beach in Vanderhorst Plantation. Being on the lagoon, and a short walk to the beach was a real draw for us. We were blown away by the beauty and comfort of your home. The photos, while very good, cannot possibly do your home justice. Everything was in perfect condition and the beds were the most comfortable we had slept on. The kitchen and large dining area made meal preparation and eating very convenient and pleasurable. The screened in porch and the deck/pool area overlooking the live oaks with hanging moss next to the lagoon was a favorite spot. The living room was very well furnished with plenty of room for all 8 adults to gather. Each bedroom and every bathroom were simply elegant with a traditional flair that matched the historic architecture. It was the best Kiawah vacation we have had in 20 years! I would highly recommend your home to anyone looking for very close proximity to the beach, on a lagoon with lots of comfortable beds, in a home beautifully and comfortably furnished. Thanks for being so great to work with in helping us celebrate a terrific week with our family! We all loved being there together and your home will always be a big part of our fond memories.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: Hello! Kiawah has always been a dream vacation for our family for 20+ years. After always renting, we decided to build a home that our children, friends and family could all reunite in during the summer and we would live in during the winter! This house is our home away from home and we hope you feel the same way. We are a hard working family, living in Northern New Jersey, but are southerners at heart. My family all works together at our business, a garden center in Clifton, NJ and truly value our time spent together in Kiawah. We hope you love our home and this island as much as we do!
