  Mark, We had such a wonderful time at your cabin and we can't wait to return. We did go to Evans for dinner. It was fantastic! I'm a sucker for rack of lamb! Everything went smooth. No problems. Thank you again Jacob

  Hi Mark & Martha Our trip to your cabin did the trick. For a cabin in town, it had its own individual charm. I was able to write and frolic in the forest pocket park at the same time. We left some firewood and got the ice off the deck for you for our thankfulness for that time we spent there. I loved the mountain and ocean decor. I am from the beach so that was nice.... Most importantly, the dogs loved it as much as I did. Kudos to you for allowing pets, it make the time so much more special! Hopefully we will be able to do that again. Thankx. Enjoy Your Day, Liz

  Hi Mark and Martha, We had the BEST time. Your cabin is awesome and we will definitely book it in the future when we go to Tahoe!! We didn't eat at Cafe Fiore or Evans, but went to Blue Dog Pizza and Chevy's and Izzy's Burger Spa (so good)!!! We went to Hansons tubing hill, which was so GREAT!! We went early in the day before it got crowded and it was perfect!! Mostly the kids sledded up behind your cabin, off of that closed road. We would walk up through the trees and some people had made a great path with a bump of snow to stop you from crossing the road and going down into the trees! It was perfect!! Our favorite was the hot tub for sure. At first we were thinking it wasn't very private because of it's location, but when you open the cover, it provides all the privacy you need for sure!! We loved your cabin and would love to stay there in the future!!!! Thanks so much, Stacey and Mark

  Hi Mark, We had a great stay at your cabin. We had no issues either. The hot tub worked perfectly and was wonderful to use. The sleds (2) worked perfectly. We brought our own but used yours as they were more efficient. Cabin was super cute and clean. Donna

  Mark and Martha, our stay was great! We truly felt at home and the location was perfect. It was our first time renting a cabin and it was more than we expected. The hot tub got good use during our stay! We did try to go to cafe fiore but we did not make reservations so we went elsewhere. We didn't come by any issues in your home. We may contact you again this summer, Thank you again for the experince! -Sarah and Jordan

  Hi Mark! We had a wonderful stay! We had to leave early Sunday morning, otherwise we would have been snowed in later in the morning. My kids had a blast and we actually went sledding down the street from the cabin where you had mentioned. We also made our own track behind the cabin. My kids being 9 and 2 were happy just with that. Next time we will try to make it to one of the tubing places. We also went shopping and made breakfast, lunch and dinner at the cabin. Friday night, however we did go to a pizza place and it was delicious! It's called Blue dog pizza. Super yummy. We plan to try the Mexican restaurant you suggested next time. We didn't have any issues with the cabin. It's a great place to stay. We felt right at home when we stepped through the door. I am already talking to my husband about going back before the snow season is over. I have also recommended the cabin to friends. Thank you so much for everything! Tiffany and Shaun

  Hello Mark, The stay was fantastic! The cabin was perfect the entire trip. We had a little trouble the first time getting our van up the snowy hill to the house, but fortunately, I'm a little experienced driving in snow after living in Germany for a couple of years. I just had to back down the hill and take it again with a little more speed. The snowmobile trip was wonderful, too. We drove to north shore and rented with Lake Tahoe Snowmobile Tours out of Kings Beach. We also went to Illusion Fusion at the Horizon. Great show. I highly recommend it. The magician was talented and funny, and the service was good. We didn't make it to Cafe Fiore or Evans, but we did go to Scuza, which was delicious. We also tried Capisce, but the staff was rude and refused to seat us. When we got there, they told us , "We won't have any seats available until 9pm." When we realized that 9pm was only a 30 minute wait, we decided to stay. And then they told us, "Oh, sorry, I misread it. We won't have any available tables." It was after that that we left and went to Scuza. All in all, we had a great time, and the cabin was perfect. Also, the gals running the Accommodation Station were friendly and helpful as well. - Jarred

  We just got back from 2 nights (3 days) at Ruby Way. We had a wonderful time and we were so happy to being able to bring our dog with us. The cabin is very comfortable, with all you could need for a nice getaway. Great big kitchen, 2 bedrooms, outdoor patio, charcoal bbq and a hot tub! The location is great, walking distance to some restaurants, very close to Heavenly ski resort (we'll be back in winter if possible!), yet feels remote and relaxing. The neighborhood was very quiet and we enjoyed long walks around the property. The owners are very friendly and easy to communicate with, helpful with recommendations, and the booking and getting keys was easy. All in all, we loved it! Thank you, M & M!!!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing.

  Hello! Everything was perfect! We enjoyed the location and it was the perfect size for us. We lacked nothing and only wish we had spent more time in the hottub! Our daughter loved the collection of Disney movies;) thank you for being so hospitable and accommodating and we look forward to booking again sometime this winter!   A belated, but sincere thanks for the great time we had at Ruby Way! The family had so much fun hiking and beaching, and the house was just wonderful to come "home" to. I had a bad case of altitude sickness on the first day (those East coast wimps!), but the scenery cured it by the 2nd day. Attached is a sunset to remember! Again, thanks, we love VRBO! Beverley

  We had an amazing weekend, with lots of great adventures in snow management! Very good experience for us city slickers! Ruby Way is adorable and we could not have felt more comfortable or cozy or at home. Please know that this all amounted to GREAT FUN and adventure for my husband and I, so it is in no way a complaint!! I would have been pretty nervous, though, if we had brought a mere car with chains. We had a very fun and looooong leisurely dinner at Café Fiore with the gracious folks there and their great food and wine, so thank you for your perfect suggestion!   Cozy Retreat w/Hot Tub B&B Tracy, CA Review Submitted: October 19, 2010 Date of Stay: October 2010 This is a quiet neighborhood with woods all around. Casinos, spas, and restuarants are all within 1 mile. We walked everywhere. Awesome to sit in the hot tub on cool mornings. Great location during the winter months for skiing travelers. Owner's Response: Thanks you for the nice review of our cabin, its much appreciated as we strive to make it as comfortable as possible for renters. New High Speed wireless internet being installed on 10/26/2010 for our renters use. Thanks again, Mark & Martha
