This is a perfect home for the combined family. The main level has an open floor plan with the master bedroom upstairs. Two bedrooms, a den, library/office, and wet bar/kitchen area are downstairs. The bedding is a king in the master, two twins and a queen in the downstairs bedrooms, queen sofa beds in the den and living room and a daybed with trundle in the library/office. There are beautiful views from the balcony upstairs of the mountains and the first fairway of Trillium Links Golf Course. Great sunset views! A seating area is also available overlooking the first fairway in our backyard.
This property is located a short walk from Trillium's beautiful clubhouse with wonderful views and even better food. The tennis courts and swimming pool are also a short walk, as well as the workout room and golf pro shop. Fabulous golf course with some of the best views in the Cashiers area! Great neighbors!
As a renter, you would have access to our challenging 18-hole golf course and a newer, nine-hole, par-3 course at Trillium West. Beautiful Lake Glenville fronts on Trillium Village and you could rent float boats, jet skis, etc. from Trillium to explore the lake and waterfalls. During high season (June to October), Trillium sponsors a "Street Sweep" (cocktails and hors d'oerves) at 5 p.m. every Friday for guests to mingle and meet each other, as well as other Trillium members. Activities by the Trillium staff are planned for the entire season, from dinners to golf/tennis tournaments to arts and crafts activities, as well as Camp Trillium for the youngsters.
The Highlands/Cashiers area has some of the best restaurants ANYWHERE! And, there are lots of them! You could eat every night of the week at a different four- or five-star restaurant. This area is also renowned for shopping - absolutely gorgeous antiques, wonderful home decor stores, jewelry and collectible shops, as well as numerous clothing stores from chic to hiking attire. If you like to shop and eat in the beauty of nature, this area is for YOU! And the waterfalls are plentiful and awe inspiring! I like to hike to the waterfalls! The Oconee and Nantahala Rivers are about an hour's drive for unbelievable rafting, from level three to five! There is so much nature to see and experience in this area!
Our home is beautifully decorated, very warm and inviting! We share our home with you by leaving out extra amenities, such as our spices in the kitchen, Bose radio, and the Big Green Egg for outside cooking. Please contact us if you would like more details about our lovely home in the mountains!
