GORGEOUS CONDO AT SANTA MONICA BEACH - located directly across the street from the beach at Ocean Park Blvd in a 1535 SF or 143 SqM laid back elegant condo with view of ocean and Catalina Island. Professionally decorated and furnished. Two bedrooms, two baths, balcony, patio, air conditioning, fireplace, 24-hour security, ocean views, pool and three Jacuzzis, complete gym, sauna, Berber carpet, all electric appliances, and high-speed internet/cable. NO DOGS (unfortunately) are allowed in this furnished unit, but will consider cat only with additional damage deposit.
Twelve month lease is available. Rates and deposits vary with length of term, number of occupants and high/low seasonal demand. Six month or more lease through High Season (June through September) would be considered.
Utility allowance for Fiber Optic High Definition Cable and high speed (20 MPBS) fiber optic internet access, electric utilities, and domestic USA calls are paid by me. Telephone land line in unit.

This place was my residence from the time it was constructed until 1996. It's very convenient to Main Street restaurants and shopping and fronts the Santa Monica Beach. I began renting it when I travelled extensively for business and it stayed rented, primarily to people in the entertainment, hotel, and advertising industries. I just began advertising on VRBO and have a number of inquiries. No one has ever been unhappy with the accommodations here. There's a Farmers' Market 1/2 block away on Sunday and the beach is enjoyable in all kinds of weather. If the HOA would allow dogs, my wife and I would move back. Year Purchased: 1987
About the owner: I have been a real estate investor for more than 30 years and do my own property management. I had been in the steel distribution business during that time with a family business and then working for a larger company. Now as an industrial landlord, I rent to a large glass recycler. I rent this condo for fun so that I can meet interesting people who want to live by the beach. I only rent furnished and advertise on a few websites for rental. Why the Owner Chose Santa Monica:
When I was in high school, we would bicycle to the beach in Santa Monica to meet our friends. I liked it so much, I bought a place when this was built and used to live here until 1996. When I started traveling a lot for business, I began renting it furnished thinking I would come back eventually. Then, I met my wife and she had a dog so I bought a house near the ocean with a yard. I'm still trying to get back here. Some day, I shall return.....

You can walk to everything, or take Santa Monica's great mass transit.
Some of the city's best restaurants are here, movies are close by, and let's not forget the beach for body surfing!!
The Farmer's Market is a half a block away on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There are summer concerts on Santa Monica Pier for free.
