Location: Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island, The Islands, British Columbia, Canada

Accommodations:  House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths (Sleeps 6-8)

Golf year round, at award winning Fairwinds Golf Course, and stay in our spacious ocean view, smoke free home, located on the second green.

The house backs onto a pond, which has a resident swan, plus a host of transient water fowl. Eagles soar overhead, and deer are frequent visitors. The beach access is just across the road

The large private garden has a waterfall, and stream to soothe the spirit. A garden swing provides a lovely view of the pond.

The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, and luxurious en suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, separate shower and bidet. The other two bedrooms have queen sized beds and there is a sofabed in the family room.

Although, the house is spacious and sleeps six to eight, it is not suitable for young children as the pond and stream are not fenced.

  • My family and I had a wonderful time at Huntington’s house at Nanoose Bay in the Spring break of 2005. The area is great and the house offers even a nice ocean view as a surplus. A community park across the street leads to the ocean shore. Several trails put you in contact with the nature. Deer abound and birds are all over—as close as in the nice pond in the house’s backyard. We are not golfers—but my guess is that for golfers, this is the paradise on earth. The house itself is a delight to stay. It has everything you may need (a well assorted chain supermarket is close by, so you don’t even need to bring food from afar). Every room is comfortable, but I want to highlight the master suite, the open kitchen and the fireplace living room. Moreover, the owners keep the house with extreme care. It is absolutely clear that they do it with love. The only thing that can go wrong in renting this house is that you may enjoy it so much, that you can feel too lazy to get in the car and visit other parts of beautiful Vancouver Island.
