Our beautiful, luxurious, four bedroom, vacation home was constructed in 2004, and has all the advantages of a new house. We provide a fully-equipped home, including all linen, towels, crockery, etc. All you need to bring is sun cream!
In one of our two spacious living areas, we provide TV, Video and DVD system. Spacious seating provides comfort after a long day at the beach, a shopping trip, or a trip to Orlando. The larger lounge provides access to the pool area. The open plan Kitchen Breakfast room has all the usual facilities you expect from a luxury Kitchen, including Microwave, Dishwasher, Fridge / Freezer, oven and telephone (including FREE local calls). The bedrooms are split plan, with the luxurious en-suite master bedroom being alone on the South side of the house. This offers privacy from your other guests. The house has a fully automated (centrally monitored) alarm and fire system that protects from unwanted visitors and also protects your children from leaving the exits without your knowledge. Essential for coverage around the pool area.
The secluded south westerly facing pool area is perfect for sunbathing in private, splashing around, and, of course, the traditional Florida outdoor eating. A gas barbecue is supplied for your use. Plastic cutlery and crockery is also supplied.
Citrus County is known for its wonderful Golf courses with over 20 courses residing within a 30 minutes drive and several within a 5 minute drive - including four ranked among the top 100 in the nation by Golf Digest magazine.
Alternativelty, come swim with the manatees and dolphins! The Gulf of Mexico and an extensive system of freshwater springs are just a short boat ride away. The constant feed of freshwater at a constant 68-72F (19-21C) from the springs means excellent visibility in the clear and cool water. Crystal River coast line is 10 minutes away and its most famous Beach (Fort Island) is 20 minutes away.
A large number of dive shops offer equipment, dive tours, and training. November-April is a sweet time to be here because the crowds are gone, and you have the manatees all to yourself. The Crystal River has multiple marinas with live bait, tackle, and refreshments.
Or maybe you would rather sip a frozen daiquiri at one of the many boat accessible tiki huts or restaurants. Casino river cruises, deep water fishing tours, dive trips, boat rentals or just play golf !
