Breckenridge Mountain Chalet is a the perfect place to experience a true Colorado mountain getaway in the heart of ski country. Nestled in the pine forest in the well-located Peak 7 neighborhood -- 3 miles from the Peak 7 and Peak 8 base areas or to the BreckConnect Gondola and downtown Breckenridge -- our spacious, comfortable mountain home features a huge, vaulted great room and amazing views from the private hot tub on our wraparound deck.
Minutes from skiing, outdoor adventures and downtown Breckenridge, our smoke-free home has everything you will need for a wonderful vacation or a weekend getaway, and comes complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms -- the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or week long retreat during any of the four beautiful seasons here in Colorado.
The spacious and dramatic great room on the main floor has vaulted ceilings and a massive stone fireplace. It is a wonderful place for your group to gather, enjoy a fire, take in the views, play games, watch a movie, eat or just simply relax. Two sliding glass doors lead from the great room to the wraparound deck, hot tub and stunning west facing mountain views.
The main floor common area also includes a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen ready for your cooking needs, as well as an an open, airy dining area.
Sleeping arrangements are as follows: The main floor has an oversized (huge!) master bedroom with two queen size beds and a full size sleeping futon. Upstairs, there is another large bedroom with a king bed, as well as a roomy enclosed sleeping loft with a queen sleeper. For additional sleeping, on the main floor, there is also a full size futon in the great room, as well as two extra long leather couches (non-pullout). You really can sleep a lot of folks in this place!
There are 3 remodeled bathrooms, including a full bath and powder room on the main level and three quarter bath with shower upstairs.

Our warm and inviting mountain home, conveniently located "on the mountain" in the Peak 7 neighborhood of Breckenridge, puts you within minutes of world-class skiing and snowboarding, nordic and snowshoe trails, snowmobiling, skating, tubing, and other winter activities in Summit County. Summertime in Colorado is also gorgeous, and Breckenridge is busy with festivals and other events. Our home has ready access the best summer actvities, including: great hiking, mountain and road biking, off-roading, rafting, fishing, and golfing. (Of course, you may never want to leave the great room and hot tub on the deck!) Nearby trailheads offer access to endless of acres of National Forest and trails for hiking, biking and nordic pursuits.
The chalet is also only minutes from beautiful, historic downtown Breckenridge, with its over 200 shops, galleries, boutiques, restaurants and recreation center! Winter or summer, Breckenridge is a vibrant mountain town with numerous events and goings on.
Breathtaking views from hot tub on the wraparound deck ensure a truly memorable experience surrounded by nature. Pets are negotiable. And for those of you with kids, we are close to the Breck Rec Center which offers full-day daycare.

*50% deposit required; Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (45 days for the Christmas and New Year's Holiday).
* Deposit non-refundable unless there is another booking for same period.
* A $300 security deposit is due with final payment and will be returned unless there is damage to the unit.

* Check in is 4:00 p.m.; checkout is 10:00 a.m.

* Caretaker unit is on-site on lower level of home. Vacation rental occupies upper two levels of home.

Our place in Breckenridge is a special mountain getaway for our family and for our guests. Since we are skiers, we enjoy the proximity to the world-class Breckenridge ski mountain with four mountains and incredible high alpine bowls. We also enjoy local trailheads near the home that offer instant access to seemingless endless expanses of pristine mountain forest -- great for snowshoeing/cross-country skiing in winter or hiking/mountain biking in summer.
The Town of Breckenridge is also one of the coolest mountain towns anywhere, with its historic buildings, vibrant downtown, and dozens of shops, restaurants. The Peak 7 neighborhood is a great location within Breckenridge -- offering easy and quick access to the ski area, downtown, and nordic/hiking htrails combined with a serene mountain experience in a quiet community.
Finally, the home itself is a perfect mountain retreat, with an authentic mountain feel, amazing views, spacious great room, huge fireplace, wraparound deck, and private hot tub.

This house is very spacious and has all the needed amenities and great views. The owner is super responsive when we blew a fuse and even had someone come shovel the snow when we couldn't find the shovel to shovel the snow. The beds are super comfy and the upstairs bedroom is great for with a king bed. The house is slightly dated but it was plenty big for our group of 9. Great fire place with lots of wood and nice hot tub on the deck.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.
