This charming guesthouse cottage is separate from the main house and has its own parking space. It has one bedroom with a quality full-size bed and a kitchen/dining/living space. The bath has a tub and shower. There are hardwood floors in the living room and a carpeted bedroom. The sliding glass doors off of the bedroom open to a private fenced backyard which is especially great if you have your dog with you. The cottage is fully-equipped with all linens and cooking needs.I grow an organic vegetable garden every year that I share with my guests. Raspberries, tomatoes, and more! There is TV with cable and a DVD and high speed internet. A washer and dryer are also included.

The cottage is in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Ashland. You will feel the peaceful quiet and privacy of a rural atmosphere, and yet be three minutes from the heart of town. Beautiful hiking trails surround the area. The many windows make this space light and airy and provide amazing views of the surrounding hills of Southern Oregon.

  • I was lucky enough to make Karen's lovely cottage my home for a whole year and a half! I enjoyed every moment of my stay in her comfortable cottage and appreciated her kindness and hospitality so very much. Her property is gorgeous with jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring views of Ashland in every direction and is covered with gorgeous flowers and an organic garden that Karen attends to meticulously throughout the year. Every season at her cottage is a true treasure to behold, whether it is watching the gentle snowflakes fall in winter, or admiring the fabulous spring, summer or autumn colors. The views out the windows are a feast for the eyes, and it is not uncommon to see groups of deer walk by and other cute creatures, too! Just down the hill from her cottage is Lithia Park, the Shakespearean Theatre, and all of the Downtown shops. I will never forget my year and a half in what I like to call, Karen's "Nirvana in the Hills of Ashland, Oregon." Thank you, Karen!

  • Simply outstanding. Great value. Thoughtful and caring hostess. We loved every minute of our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again. Can't recommend it highly enough. What a fabulous way to enjoy all that Ashland has to offer.
