We had a wonderful time! The home was perfect for us! The property was beautiful, the weather was perfect, the wildflowers were spectacular. We wnjoyed watching the neighbors play with their Great Dane puppy. We all commented that we would love to go back there in the future.

This was our third year to spend the winter at this lakehouse. As usual, the home was very comfortable and well stocked. This year all three months had above normal temperatures. In the spring the blue bonnets were outstanding! Their beauty is impossible to describe, you have to see them for yourself. We recomend Cooper's BBQ in Llano, Doc's Seafood and the BlueBonnet Cafe in Marble Falls. We also took in the area country music shows. Hope to return for the next winter.

A perfect place for relaxation and convenience to all sorts of interesting places. A very comfy and well equipped lake house. We enjoyed the lakeside porch morning, noon, and night. We watched the most glorious sunset on Sunday, up at the bend of the Llano River, sitting still in the water on the boat. Wonderful memories were made here!

They say hotel sales people are some of the most difficult guests to satisfy (this is true), especially when you work for a 4 star resort in Houston- you expect a level of friendliness, cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction. You have surpassed our expectations! We fell in love with the breath taking view. I uploaded my pics to Face Book and many of my colleagues (hotels) are asking us about your place. We are securing our spot, before we tell them. (LOL). Thanks for your flexibility for allowing us another night stay. Our children, my husband, and I had the time of our lives.Your house is clean and very comfortable, not to mention the sunset view. Thanks again- we will never consider the other places again, from now on it is this Lake LBJ Lake House! PS: Our daughter and husband caught 4 catfish off your pier!

We just had our 3rd stay and as always the house was spotless. Anything we had forgotten at home was already there! Again, the most well supplied (pots,pans,utensils,small appliances,soaps,spices,towels,sheets,blankets,etc.) place that we have ever had the opportunity to stay. The laundry room is such a wonderful amenity! The fireworks were spectacular this year and so nice that we could just watch them from the dock! Our family once again thanks the owners for such a pleasant experience!!

The house is in a very nice location, well cared for, and the owners are very nice / helpful. The house is extremelly clean, well equipped, and very confortable. We really appreciated the time we spent there and our kids were absolutely happy with all the time we played / spent in the back yard, lake, boating, jumping off the boat pier, etc. We will certanly try to come back again in the summer to spend more time and have lots of fun.

House was very clean when we arrived. Kitchen is well equipped. Kids enjoyed swimming off the dock. We slept 6 adults and 3 kids, but brought an extra pump-up mattress for the floor. Rented pontoon boat for 3-hr exploration of the Llano and Colorado arms of the lake. Great fun was had by all.

We spent Jan Feb and March 2011 at this lakehouse and this was our second winter in Texas. Again we had and excellent winter- (cold a few mornings but the afternoons were good) In March we had 80 and 90 degree temperatures (the winter in our home state- Wisconsin- was not a good one). We attended the "winter texan" dinners - met some new friends. The fishing was very good this year- . We are country music fans so we attended 3 shows- can't beat the price- $15.00 - these were in Marble Falls-Llano and Brady. Found a few new eating places- again-went to the "trade days"- we enjoy those. - we are looking forward to 2012.

my husband and I and another couple spent the weekend in this awesome lakehouse. we had such a wonderful time, enjoying the magnificant view of the lake, sunrise and sunset. best of all was the serenity that makes one forget all the worries, relax and enjoy the view. One more thing: I recommend everyone to have at least a meal at "Bluebunnet cafe;" the food, especially the breakfast is great.

Thanks so much for the great end of summer fun!!! Your home was great with the tile floors throughout and the limited decor!! Thats right, limited so we didnt have to worry about the kids running everywhere and possibly breaking something! This was our first vrbo experience and we loved the experience. Your house had EVERYTHING we could need! The room layouts were great for two families! The master bathroom was HUGE. We watched lots of football and cartoons on the flat screen in the liviing room! and the lush backyard was great for just hanging out... The location on the river suited us perfectly since we had family staying in an rv down the river. We had great water activity to watch but it wasnt too crowded on your end of the lake. Our pontoon fit just perfect in the dock. and the kids loved the swimming as well. We liked that the water was shallow enough by the shore for us to stand and help the kids out! thanks again so much to the owners for having such a great practical place!! AND A GREAT PRICE!

This was our first family vacation and we could not have chosen a better location!! The house was fully furnished with everything we needed and more. It was clean and the yard was well maintained. We were right on the water and we were provided a great boat slip. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful!! This was our second 4th of July at this house. The house is so well-equipped. If we have forgotten anything it is almost always there and available at the house. The addition of the flat screen TV this year made my husband really happy!! The house is clean,comfortable and nice and the A/C works great! (We had a terrible stay at Lake LBJ a few years ago because the A/C did not cool the condo we rented below 85 degrees!) The yard is well kept and has so much room. And last, but not least, being able to watch fireworks from the yard and dock is priceless. Thanks again for allowing us to have such a great time!!!

We had a great one week stay. The house was very comfortable and spacious. I was impressed with the overall quality of the furnishings and kitchen items. The beds were very comfortable and everyone remarked on how well they slept. We took in all the local sights, the blackberry farm, the Longhorn Caverns, and Willow City loop. We had such a great time here at your house. We've probably been to this lake 10+ times and this was one of the most memorable trips. The house was wonderful (absolutely spotless!) and had anything we could possibly need. I've never seen such a well equipped kitchen! Our two families felt right at home. It was great to park the boat right at the house, and our kids loved the backyard. We hope to come back soon!

What a great lakehouse with everything we needed. A storm blew in our 1st night and the lights blinked. We searched the house just in case the electricity went out and found all we would have needed. Thanks for being prepared when we were not! Our kids and our friends' kids just had a blast catching numerous perch from the pier. What a thrill for (4) four year olds. And, we big kids had a blast on the lake! We will be in touch for another/multiple visits in the future!

Then for the past week our friends from Minnesota and my husband and I have loved our "home away from home". You have done a great job here. We spent Jan-Feb and March of 2010 at the Lake LBJ rental and are looking forward to next year. The weather was not as warm as usual (according to the local residents) ,however we had no snow to shovel!!. The description on the web is very accurate- very well kept and clean. Pictures are accurate. Kitchen was well stocked with almost anything you would have a need for-- and the binder available with information on the area-restaurants-fishing etc was very helpful, Since this was our first trip-we spent a lot of time exploring the area- we went to "trade days" in Fredericksburg-Wimberly-and a couple of others. Spent some time in Fredericksburg- some very nice shops. We also had excellent hamburgers at the micro brewery there- (their buns were made with just a very small amount of jalapeno). Also went to Coopers BBQ in Llano- this is a must if you have not been there- very good BBQ and a different experience. Jack also liked the beef jerky at Millers in Llano- also a good meat market. Went to Tamale King- very good Mexican food. Spent time on the deck and saw some beautiful sunsets- also quite a few different water birds- white pelicans and also a couple of loons- something we did not expect to see in Texas- we see them in Wisconsin. We are not golfers-however when we attended the "winter texan" dinners- it was evident that there are several courses in the area. We were close enought to Austin when we needed to go to a "bigger city"== We would recommend this rental property to anyone - Roxie and Jack

What a joy to come back to this home. It feels like home every time we visit here to relax and laugh. This visit was so special; good friends helping me cope with tough circumstances- God's love in human form. And to top it all off, for our centerpiece activity- we cooked Julia Child's beef bourguignon! It took us 6 hrs and was delicious. Great friends, great place, great wine, and great food. We had a wonderful time over Father's Day weekend at your lake house! What a great spot on the lake! And the amenities were unbelievable - 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets and all the top of the line kitchen tools, appliances and gadgets one could ever dream of! My 83 year old father thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching all the water sports.
