"Waves and Moguls" is a lake access home that sits high on the mountainside with beautiful and expansive views of the lake from every room, on all three floors of the house! Inside, the house is very clean, has been well maintained, and looks brand new. It is a "warm" home and has been beautifully decorated with nice furniture and many pieces of unique artwork. Come and enjoy your vacation stay with us!
LAYOUT: "Waves and Moguls" has three stories with five bedrooms spread out on all three floors. All bedrooms have a new wide-screen TV with cable TV. Relax in the cozy living room while you feel the warmth from the gas fireplace. You will be captivated with the gorgeous lake/mountain views through the large windows or from the deck. Enjoy a show on the new 42" wide screen TV. The kitchen is completely equipped with everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal or to blend your favorite drinks. Wireless internet is available throughout the house.
BEDROOMS: The master suite in on the main floor of the house. The upper floor has three more bedrooms: one second floor bedroom is a master suite with private bath, one has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The lower level has the fifth bedroom, with a queen bed and bathroom. All bedrooms in the house have a lake/mountain view. In addition, every bedroom has its own wide-screen TV with cable.
The lower level family room is "entertainment central". You will love the stone/gas fireplace while you play a game of pool on the full size pool table, watch TV or play one of the board games. The lower level also contains a master suite (with full bath).
HOT TUB WITH GREAT VIEWS! The hot tub has one of the greatest views around. Walk out to your private patio and relax in the hot tub with a great view of the lake below and the stars above. The views of the mountain/lake extend all the way up to WISP and down to the southern part of the lake.
CENTRALLY LOCATED! "Waves and Moguls" is centrally located, so Deep Creek activities, shops, and restaurants are always close by. Location, location, location!
EASY ACCESSIBLITY! Park on a level parking area, only 2 steps to the porch and the main floor of the house.
Restaurants / shops / theater: Only 3 minutes down the road and includes Lakeside Creamery (ice cream), Uno's Pizzeria, several gift shops, and the Garrett Cinema.
Trader's Coffee house and Brenda' pizza: within walking distance, the coffee house is a great place to relax and enjoy gourmet coffee and food (and they have free wireless internet) as well as great homemade foods, plus gourmet coffee. Brenda's is a nice Italian restaurant with good food and delicious NY-style pizza.
WISP: Only 4 miles away, Deep Creeks WISP resort has year-round activities including the new Alpine slide, paintball, mountain biking, chairlift rides, white water rafting and more. The new Adventure Sports Center International facility opened in April 2007 with a 1700-ft long artificial whitewater course atop Marsh Mountain (above the WISP ski resort). One of only two recirculating courses in North America; it can be adjusted from beginner to advanced. You've got to see this facility, if only to watch the spectacle of it all.

Why the Owner Chose Oakland
We purchased Waves and Moguls due to its great views and central location on Deep Creek Lake. You can get to restaurants, the grocery store, movie theater, and shopping in a few minutes. WISP and Deep Creek State Park are each only 10 minutes away. And the location in the development is high up on the side of the mountainside so that there are panoramic views all the way up to WISP and also down to the south end of Deep Creek Lake. Spectacular!

What a wonderful house! Love the way you decorated, enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and deck. It ws so close to so many activities. We love this place so much we are planning on bringing our children and their spouses for a "family vacation". We'll be back!
