"Waves and Moguls" is a lake access home that sits high on a hill with a beautiful and expansive view of the lake from every room, on all three floors of the house! Inside, the house is very clean, has been well maintained, and looks brand new. It also has been beautifully decorated. Come and enjoy your vacation stay with us!
"Waves and Moguls" has three stories with five bedrooms spread out on all three floors. All bedrooms have a brand new wide-screen TV with cable. Relax in the cozy living room while you feel the warmth from the gas fireplace. You will be captivated with the gorgeous lake/mountain views through the large windows or from the deck. Enjoy a show on the new 42" wide screen TV. The kitchen is completely equipped with everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal or to blend your favorite drinks. Wireless internet is available throughout the house.
The master suite in on the main floor of the house. Three additional bedrooms are located on the second floor. One second floor bedroom is a master suite with private bath, one has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. All bedrooms in the house have a lake/mountain view. In addition, every bedroom has its own wide-screen TV with cable.
The lower level family room is "entertainment central". You will love the stone/gas fireplace while you play a game of pool on the full size pool table, watch TV or play one of the board games. The lower level also contains a master suite (with full bath).
The hot tub has one of the greatest views around. Walk out to your private patio and relax in the hot tub with a great view of the lake below and the stars above. The views of the mountain/lake extend all the way up to WISP and down to the southern part of the lake.
"Waves and Moguls" is centrally located, so Deep Creek activities, shops, and restaurants are always close by. Location, location, location!
Restaurants / shops / theater: Only 3 minutes down the road and includes Lakeside Creamery (ice cream), Uno's Pizzeria, several gift shops, and the Garrett Cinema.
Trader's Coffee house and Brenda' pizza: within walking distance, the coffee house is a great place to relax and enjoy gournet coffee and food (and they have free wireless internet). as well as great homemade foods, plus gourmet coffee. Brenda's is a large pizza shop with a full sit-down menu and the largest pizza on the lake at 26 inches.
Boating: The lake is a short walk down the hill, and across the street, where you will find a private dock provided for your use. Bill's Marine is 2 minutes away where boats can be rented for the day or the week.
WISP: Only 4 miles away, Deep Creeks WISP resort has year-round activities including the new Alpine slide, paintball, mountain biking, chairlift rides, white water rafting and more. The new Adventure Sports Center International opened in April 2007 with a 1700-ft long artificial whitewater course atop Marsh Mountain (above the WISP ski resort). One of only two recirculating courses in North America; it can be adjusted from beginner to advanced. You've got to see this facility, if only to watch the spectacle of it all.
Golfing: There are two outstanding courses nearby, one of which (Wisp Resort) is ranked within the top ten courses in Maryland. As an alternative, visit the luxurious Nemocolin Resort for lunch or a challenging game of golf located a mere 30 minutes away.
