Being a previous owner in The Greens it was great to revisit. This unit was very convenient to the pool and being an end unit had much more natural lighting than most. Still an easy bike ride or walk to the beach even in the back of the complex. Feels lived in and comfortable with all the necessary amenities for island cooking, as well as a grill on the deck. Built in bar under the stairs is an obvious upgrade from my old unit and a perfect fit for the space. Enjoyed the location and will plan to return in the future.
Owner response:As new owners of this property, we thank you...our first guests... for your positive comments. You were perfect guests and we look forward to having you visit again. We've added a few upgrades and will change a few more things in the Fall that will make your stay even more comfortable.

We stayed at this condo for a week during May. We could not have asked for a better location. Extremely close to the beach and within a short bike ride to restaurants and shopping. The Shipyard is a beautiful, safe, gated neighborhood.

We love "home" so our villa was a comfortable and beautiful place to wake up each morning, enjoy the private setting, have breakfast and get ready for our many outings. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, BBQ, sitting on the deck in the evening, privacy, internet access, pool, laundry room.... everything! We had a little trouble finding the utmost succulent seafood restaurants that we expected, but the Ruan Thai was fabulous... and we cooked the fresh local shrimp from Piggly Wiggly, Yummy!!! Hilton Head is a golf paradise. Great golf courses, beautiful, private and kick-back!! We saw our first alligators and found awesome alligotor and pirate t-shirts for our grandkids! We are Arizonans, so we're used to a relaxed, private atmosphere, which Hilton Head provided. The beach access was really fun, including our adventurous bike ride on the "scenic route", which means we got lost, but found our way home before dark on the great (safe) bike paths!!! Historic Savanah and Beaufort were a VERY SHORT drive and the most interesting Old American history we have experienced, being from the west. Thank you for the opportunity to visit the "low country". We thoroughly enjoyed our new experience. It was a completely memorable "honeymoon"! Thank you again. Paul & Lori

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the week we spent at 161 Greens in July. Its location on the golf course and being an end unit was very peaceful. It was nice to sit out on the deck and watch the golfers early in the morning or while taking a break from the sun. The pool was literally a few steps from the front door which was great!! The condo is very clean, well maintained, updated, spacious and equipped with everything you might need. We enjoyed using the grill and stereo. Having the beach locker made the trip to the beach a breeze.. no need to carry chairs, umbrellas or boogie boards back to the condo!! We all enjoyed a relaxing week and our favorite activities of biking on the beautiful paths in Shipyard, going to the beach, pool and Coligny. Having stayed at many Shipyard condos, we look forward to returning to 161 Greens!

Our stay, last two weeks of May '09, was again what we needed! Beach, town, 'Les Mis' at the theatre, bargains at Belk, side trips, and the beach. Your 'palace' at HHI now has Da thinking, "when are we going to move here." If ya can't get down here, let us go for you.

Don and I really enjoyed our stay at 161greens this past November and December. The proximity to the beach was a bonus for us as we walked the beach every day. We rented bikes for the whole six weeks and we so impressed with the bike paths throughout the island.Having the internet provided was also a real bonus for us. The unit was spotless and bright and well equipped.Having the Shipyard Golf Course so close by was very convenient. The sun by the pool in the afternoon was a great spot to relax and read.We are really looking forward to going back to 161 in March '09. Don and Margaret McGregor Nepean, ON

Our trip in September was beautiful. It was very quiet at the villa, and the pool delightful Most days we were the only ones there! The weather was great and the villa stocked with everything a vacationer might need. Everything was in great working order, and the beach a short walk away!

It felt like our home away from home. With gas prices at $4 per gallon and the cost of eating out, we were able to enjoy cooking in the well-stocked kitchen then going out for the night life at Harbour Town. We really enjoyed having access to the beach locker instead of carrying all the chairs with us. Bike trails are great! HHI is our fav!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at your place in the Greens. We enjoyed being in such a central location in Hilton Head and the closeness to beach, tennis, and golf. Thanks for a great stay!

Vince, Barb... our time, Dec. 10 - 17, 2007, was marvelous. Barb's order of 80 degrees for five days... just WOW! Beach every morning/evening, around town during the day, and dining each evening gave us a 'feel' for the area. We even got to Savannah and Beaufort for a side trips. Yet there are too many things to do/see in a week's time. The stay offered every amenity one needs for that "special vacation". Finally the last evening while walking the golf path on link #1 we saw Big Daddy 'Gator !

Wonderful stay at Hilton Head for celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren! 161 was one of four villas rented at The Greens. It was A+ in every way!

A beautiful villa. Very clean and well kept. This villa is very well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very responsive and accomodating owners. One of the quitest places we have ever stayed. Very convenient to the beach, the Crowne Plaza Hotel and all amenities of the Shipyard plantation. This property would be one of our first choices for a return visit.

We had a wonderful three-week holiday in this excellent villa. The closeness to the pool was a great plus and the fantastic beach was only a short walk or cycle ride away. The sea was warm enough for a daily swim and the cycling along the beach was very enjoyable. The villa is well equipped with the advantage of verandah on two sides, one with a pleasant view towards the golf greens. Our first visit to SC and Hilton Head but not our last! Thanks to Lori and Barb and families for being so helpful and providing such a wonderful stay. Mike and Viv, York, England

161 The Greens in Shipyard Plantation was an ideal location for our week's vacation. We have been to HHI many times before however, we have found this villa to be the most convenient to everything - ocean, pool, golf and good eating establishments. The villa was very comfortable for our stay. Make sure to tie down the trash can lids because the critters will find a way to get in them otherwise.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend getaway. The villa is immaculate and updated with good-sized rooms. Great location... close to tennis courts, pool, golf course, shopping, restaurants, etc. Beautiful bike trails. We're thinking of making this an annual event!

Wonderful villa! Many of the appliances were new for our stay. It is quite close to the beach and we found the use of the beach locker to be a BIG plus. Being across from the pool was really great for our kids. The privacy, appointments and views of this end unit are top notch. We really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our vacation here in April of this year. The Condo is nicely equipped, comfortable and convenient to the local pool, beach and shopping. It also has a nice view of the ninth fairway of the Shipyard Golf Course. You may keep the stray golf balls.

The villa was nicely decorated and seemed larger due to the floor to ceiling mirrored wall in the living room. Everything was provided and worked well. There was even a supply of tea bags. We didn't need to bring alot with us since it was so well equiped. The location across from the pool made my grandson happy. And, it was not too far from the beach, whether you walked or biked.

My husband and I rented this condominium for two weeks in March of 2005, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It is a very well equipped, updated, very clean and attractively decorated. We had rented the same unit the previous year, but the new owners have made it even nicer than it was. We like the location because it is quiet, and is across from the swimming pool, which is very convenient. We recommend it highly.
