Great place to stay. Everything was very well provided for making it a "home-away-from home" stay. Such a quiet & peaceful area. Everyone we met was very helpful & the local resturants had extremely nice staff. Would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a stress free vacation to just sit back & enjoy!

Amazing Vacation!

We are a family of four: mom, dad and two boys, 8 & 6. In thirteen years of marriage we can truthfully say we have never had a better vacation! This was a lovely home with plenty of room, places to explore and a utopia of nothingness. There is no reason to leave if serenity is all you seek. The boys were thrilled to have their own personal lagoon stocked with fish as well as two different pools to play in! We could ride the bikes to the marina everyday to swim, fish and hunt for "new" species! (The 8 yr old is sure he discovered one!) Thanks to Stevie for answering my insurance questions and traveling questions. I was new to this website and will return thanks to your amazing home and genuine care.

Perfect Honeymoon Retreat!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the "Kozy Key" after getting married up on Anna Maria Island. It was so peaceful and quiet considering it was the off season but that's just what we needed. We spent one day just exploring the ocean front, pool, and lagoon right there at the marina. The space was very comfortable and welcoming and helped us to relax which we wouldn't have found if we stayed at a hotel. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan a vacation to the Keys!

We (5 adults, 1 child) enjoyed our stay and had a great time.. The townhouse is very well located just at the pool and the Saltwater Lagoon. It has everything you need (enough towels, toys for the pool and sand, washing machine, clothes dryer,....). We hope we can come back!

Nice well-located condo

I had a wonderful stay ion the condo with my wife and teenage daughters. Well located, beautiful lagoon, close to diving/snorkeling on major reef. Has everything you need. Away from major road so it is very quiet but still convenient to shopping, restaurants etc. . Only negative - bed in master was too soft for our taste. But highly recommend!

Owner response: Sorry to hear the new mattress in the master bedroom was a bit too soft for this guest. The mattress in the second bedroom is firmer. Having two types of mattresses to choose from was done with our guest in mind, because we know one bed type does not fit all.

We have stayed in this complex before-the Kawama Club which is a mixture of town homes and condos. The location of this property is unbeatable. Not only is it clean, you're close to the pool and the lagoon - the latter being an excellent retreat after a day of out and about in Key Largo. The town home has everything you would need to make your vacation and enjoyable one. We were even able to grill some lobsters on the bbq set up outside. This couple has thought of everything-from the condiments in the kitchen to the pool toys on the lanai. They open up their home to you and are wonderful hosts. We'll come back again and again.

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. We were comfortable and safe. It was the perfect get-a-way for this empty nester couple. ( Middle-aged.) We had such a relaxing time. We planned to get up and out early, but we never made it out before 11;00 a.m.! The 1st morning we watched a 2 ft. lizzard scamper around the grounds and heard birds we've never heard before singing. We visited John Pennecamp State Park and ate at DiGiorgio's. Yum! We swam at Harry Hughs Park and Sombrero Beach. WE made a day trip to Key West- WOW! The Pilot House was a nice & close spot for cocktails and we had seafood @ historic Ballyhoo's. It ended way too soon. Our last morning we watched your little lizzard go in & out of his home in the rock next to the lania (sp?). We will miss the pool, lagoon and the walk out to the gazeebo by the sea. maybe someday we can return. Oh , and we ended it all on an airboat in the Everglades. Love, Steve & Marsha

From the first contact with Stevie, and throughout the rental process, she provided us with great information and made things easy. Being our first trip to the "Keys", we wanted everything to be perfect. The condo was clean, and well maintained. Everything we needed was available. Location was great, with the lagoon and pool right outside the back door. The property location was perfect for just about everything you wanted to do or see. We had such a great time that we are already planning our next "Keys" vacation. Maybe next time we'll stay at "Paradise Point".

Just as described; just what we needed to explore the Keys

We think this was our family's 12th vacation rental home! We use vacation rentals so we can cook our own meals and have more space. We are familiar with what to expect and how to "do" a vacation rental. We really enjoyed our stay at Kozy Key. We found the location of the rental to be as described and used it as a base to explore the Keys and Everglades National Park. The unit was just as pictured here; clean, in good repair and home-like. We appreciated that it was also "stocked" with spices and other supplies that we could use if/as needed. We also appreciated the pool being just out the back door and the bikes provided. The owners were very helpful and just plain nice while answering questions, giving clear information about rental procedures and suggesting ideas of things to see and do in the area. I would hardily recommend this rental to others--there were other units in Kawama with ocean views but this one had the best location to the lagoon and pool. We went to Dolphin Research Center and would recommend it to others as well. We had our kids ages 12 & 14 stay with us here.

This was the second time my mother and I visited Kozy Key and it was just as great as the first time. Clean, peaceful and fun. Much warmer this year than last (thank goodness!). We had everything we needed and enjoyed grilling fresh caught fish from my mate Robyn who lives in the Keys. She even brought us stone crabs from her traps -- Yum! Take some time to drive down to Whale Habor - nice cheap bar & grill with a beautiful view and nice people (Islamorada on ocean side). Don't forget to stop in at the Caribbean Club - best view on the bay side. We hope to return again. Thanks so much for the wonderful accommodations!

Relaxing Getaway

We had a fantastic time staying at the condo! We loved that it was conveniently located to anything we needed and yet was definitely removed from every day life. The size of the condo was a pleasant surprise. There were two adults and one child in our group and there would have easily been room for additional people. The main living area is located downstairs and is quite large for a two bedroom unit. The bedrooms, both located upstairs, were very large. The property had all the comforts of home, from a well stocked pantry to plenty of sheets, towels, and blankets, and toys for children. The pictures in the rental listing doesn't do the property justice! Upon opening the sliding glass door to the patio, we discovered we were just a few steps away from the pool and saltwater lagoon. Stevie was outstanding in communicating with us through the entire rental process. It was great, knowing she was available for any and all questions and concerns. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to rent here again. If you get the chance to visit Key Largo, this rental is the perfect property! Be sure not to miss some of the surrounding restaurants...Hobo's was our favorite.

We were very pleased with the excellent accommodations at Our Kozy Key. The setting was peaceful & quiet, and the location perfect for our visit to the Island Dolphin Care. The townhouse was perfect for our family to relax and we also loved the kitchen which had everything we needed. We definitely will come back to the Our Kozy Key when we return to Key Largo. We walked into the unit and were very impressed with the overall setup, cleanliness, views and the little extras this place has. As we took a walk around the property, I became more amazed as I realized how big the Kawama Yacht club really is. It's deceiving online. We really enjoyed swimming in the lagoon, taking walks ending up at the beautiful jetty. It rained all week so we never saw a sunset but we enjoyed being down by the water. We did not get to ride the bikes due to the weather. We did experience a few minor glitches while we were there. The grill wasn't working, the dryer doesn't work all that well and finally there isn't a dishwasher. I did pack all disposable supplies anyway and Stevie was great at getting back to my texts almost asap. I would definitely come back. I really recommend staying here. It was a perfect paradise. This was the last stop on a 3 week holiday around Florida. Stevie made the booking easy and and made us feel welcome even before we arrived. The house is spotlessly clean and it has all the convieniences of home. The Bovees had supplied us with a list of activities and restaurants in the area so we were able to plan in advance. There is a pool, however we preferred to swim in the lagoon right at the back door. The little fish swim right up into your hand. The kids loved it. There are plenty of places to take go fishing, snorkling or just out on a boat to see the reef. There is a lovely dock side restaurant within a 10 minute walk and there is also a great Italian nearby that does take-out if you don't fancy cooking after a long day lazing by the lagoon. I would also recommend going to see the sunset - it's incredible.

Thank you Stevie and Greg for the hospitality. Being able to stay at your Kawama townhouse was just what we were looking for. Me and my husband had a very relaxing, wonderful trip. It was nice to know that if we needed anything, you were available to answer questions. We rented a golf cart (Keys Carts) and so glad we did, we had a ball driving it around the resort. Just listening to the birds was so relaxing, I felt like I was in the middle of an aviary. The screened-in porch is excellent, because the bugs come out at night. It was nice to be able to sit outside and not get bit up. The bugs were not a problem during the day. It was great having all the little extras that we didn't have to take on the plane with us. Everything was perfect and we will "definitely" be back. We enjoyed meeting people that live there. They were so friendly and welcoming. Greg and Stevie made the process very easy and were very accomodating.

Kozy Key was very comfortable and is in a great location by the pool and lagoon. It's very clean and nicely decorated. I hope to return again soon. I took my mother for her birthday in December and we really enjoyed it. It's protected from cold winds which was good since it was so cold. Very clean place too. Could have used a couple of extra blankets but that' not the norm for Key Largo. Stop in the Caribbean Club for a drink and meet great folks. They had two fireplaces going which was nice. Pilot House is a nice place to eat with windows in the floor to see fish. Live band was there the night we went.

We loved your place. The pool was great (except the heater wasnt working, but we had it to ourselves) and yes, we did jump in. The best part of staying there was the fact that we had the place to ourselves (it was Thanksgiving and everyone was with their families.). We enjoyed walking around the complex (even met some lizards) and finding some peace and quiet. We both have stressfull jobs and enjoy going to Florida on our vacations. We are both race fans and love being close to the track. We loved the low key atmosphere of your place so much that the most money we spent was at the grocery store. We loved hanging out and eating at "home." Thanks again for the showing us another great place to stay in Florida. Can't wait to come back...Karen and Steve from Ohio

We had a fabulous time at Kozy Key! It was so clean! It also contained so many little things that made staying here so much better than at a hotel. Greg and Stevie also left a little gift in the freezer for our younger daughters! They really went out of the way to make us fee comfortable and at home. There was a book from previous tenants with places to visits and things to do. There was a box with menus of various restaurants. The pool and lagoon were just steps away from our back door! We spent time everyday at both of them. The lagoon was stocked with so many fish that were comfortable swimming right with you! Our middle daughter had a blast there. The neighbors were so helpful. They told us the lagoon was fed from the ocean through porous rock so no sharks! They gave us ideas on places to visit and invited us to go lobstering with them at the private beach - a great experience. We got up early and watched the sunrise at the private beach. It was breathtaking! There were kayaks at the beach available for our use and that was exciting. We can't wait to visit again. Kozy Key is definitely a paradise within a paradise!

Thank you Stevie! We had a great time & didnt want to leave at all. The boys loved the water more than I knew & we live at the beach already! I cant wait to do it again. The Lagoon was very cool & perfect for a late afternoon swim. We spent most nights eating at Sundowners & feeding the Tarpon there. Thanks for letting us stay!

We had a great stay and kids loved the area - favourites were the Waffle House (!) and Robbies Marina for feeding huge tarpons and fishing (eldest caught a shark!). We all enjoyed new experiences and we will definitely be back. The villa was perfect and very 'cosy'. We enjoyed evening chill outs with takeaway pizza and several films. A perfect holiday. As a divorcee I see the kids much less than I would like. This holiday has been everything I planned it to be - especially our time in the Keys!! Thanks a lot!

Dear Greg and Stevie, Thanks for the wonderfull time we had at your Kozy key, it was just as the description said, well-maintained and the description about how to reach it was just as accurate as the navigation system in the car :-) It was indeed kozy and the area was just like paradise. It is the perfect spot for visits around the Keys and everglades, because of the central location. At the end of the day it is good to be back and enjoy a swim in the pool just opposite or the lagoon. We met some very nice people over there and we hope to beck one time. The Pilot house reataurant just 2 minutes away was very good and a nice place. Also the Italian restaurant just 2 miles north was also recommendable. For the kids, the Theatre of the sea, 14 miles south, is a very nice attraction. For the rest there is plenty to do and to see. We also will recommned it to friends. Thanks again. The Our Kozy Key is really awesome. It was our second stay here. We spent a wonderful 3 weeks. The townhouse is close to Island Dolphin Care where our daughter had a therapy. I would recommend it for IDC's famillies. Spedzilismy w Our Kozy Key wspaniale 3 tygodnie. Byl to nasz juz drugi pobyt w tym miejscu. Dom jest zadbany, czysty, posiada wszystkie udogodnienia - wpelni wyposazona kuchnie, dwie sypialnie na pietrze i lozko na dole co w sumie daje mozliwosc spania dla 6 osob. Do dyspozycji jest grill, rakiety tenisowe (klucz u straznika ale trzeba zostawic ID), cztery rowery, basen w odleglosci 10-20 m - i co wazne jest w cichej okolicy. Polecam szczegolnie rodzinom ktore uczestnicza w terapii w IDC - na piechote do osrodka jest 5 minut.

Had a great time at Kozy Key...would recommend a during the week visit if you want peace and quiet...or the weekend if you have children and want lots of company at the pool. We stayed Monday through Monday so we had the best of both. The townhouse is in a great location and was fully stocked with all the essentials. The decor is cheery yet relaxing.

The condo was in very good condition, ready when expected, check in was easy, all in all, a very pleasant stay. The amenities were as described, the location was very central for our intended activities. The property was very well maintained considering the age of the complex as a whole. A fantastic value for the dollar. I would recommend this property without reservation.

ME & THE KIDS SPEND MANY HOURS IN THE LAGOON SNORKELING & FEEDING THE VERY PRETTY & COLORFUL FISH. THERE IS ALSO MANY GOOD RESTAURANTS AND THINGS TO DO JUST MINUTES AWAY. A week at Kozy Key

My family and I had an amazing time at Our Kozy Key! They had to drag me away when it was time to leave. The condo is great and the property is absolutely beautiful. There is a saltwater lagoon, beach, and pool right outside the door! I went snorkeling at least twice every day in the lagoon which is stocked with fish. Plus almost every activity you could want to do is only a few miles away in either direction. This was definitely my favorite vacation-it was relaxing and yet I was never bored.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and 3 children had a fantastic time at your holiday home, made all the easier by the great communication with Stevie every step of the way. The home was well equipped and a perfect location for the pool and snorkelling lagoon (barracuda, angel fish, parrot fish, jacks, lobster and more !). A nice quiet location with easy access to the rest of the keys and local restaurants. Would definitely use the next time we're in the keys - many thanks !

We have had such a great time in your house - the kids have had so much fun playing in the pool with all the toys you have here. We enjoyed swimming in the lagoon during the day & spotting all the different kinds of fish etc. At night we went out to eat & loved having so much choice-the BaySide Grille was a big hit, watching the kids paddle in the shallow sea whilst we watched the sunset. Even the heavy rain today was fun! So warm! (not like the cold U.K.) We saw the Iguana & the Lobsters! Love from Theresa & Steve (6th-14th April 2010)**owner comment...it's good luck to spot the Kawama Iguana & lobsters!
