"Alacrity" is a bright and lofty, newer colonial nestled into the pines of the Acadia Region. The living, dining room has a surround of windows and atrium doors leading to a deck, a generous kitchen, and a private first floor master suit with a deck, double sinks, whirlpool, and shower. This all season home has a second floor with three ample bedrooms, an office, and a den with access to yet another deck. Sunrises, sailboats, Cadillac Mountain are all within a delightful view from this inviting property.

A short walk south takes one to the Causeway Golf Course. A footbridge across the causeway takes one into town where one will find charming shops, lobster pounds, and a variety of establishments to tempt any palate. Enjoy the remodeled library as well as museums, galleries, and churches.
A short walk north offers a climb up Flying Mountain which is noted as Acadia's greatest reward for the least amount of effort after which one can bask on the rocks of Valley Cove beach. For a greater challenge take a trail to St. Sauveur or Acadia Mountain. Discover still more of the awesome treasures of Acadia National Park on the free Island Explorer Bus or take an auto drive along breathtaking seascapes.
Lectures, cinema, and live performances are available in summer. Fall, winter, and spring offer much beauty and opportunity as well. Fall foliage is splendid, cross country skiing along the carriage roads of Acadia is magnificent, and spring simply renews awaiting souls.
