Exterior View (Corner of Dukes Rd & Ocean Rd) - Bethany Beach Home Rental The 2005 Season was the first year that we rented our beach house. Previously, the house has been used exclusively for family. We now offer our beach home to our "extended family." Our beach house is located in Sussex Shores which is the first private community north of Fifth Street and the Town of Bethany Beach. It is within walking or biking distance to town, shopping, and restaurants (less than half mile from town center). Sussex Shores is a quiet, family-oriented community with a private beach, private roads, and off-street parking. Access to the community and beach is controlled by private security. Because it is a private beach, it is never crowded and has a staff of full-time lifeguards from mid June through Labor Day weekend. Once you stay in Sussex Shores, you will be spoiled for ever and will never want to return to the public beach!! The house is located 75 yards from the dunes and is a one-story (Deceptively large once inside) - no hassling with staircases! The Master Bedroom has a queen bed. Bedroom #2 has two sets of built-in twin bunk beds. Bedroom #3 has two twin beds. Bedroom #4 has two twin beds. All bedrooms are located on the back side of the house, separated from the living room, dining room,kitchen and laundry area by a hallway. The sun room opens off the kitchen, dining area and screened porch. There is an excellent outdoor shower with changing area - you'll never want to shower indoors again! In addition to the listed amenities, our beach house features a living room and dining area, a sun room, and screened porch complete with outdoor stereo speakers. A detached shed is provided for storage of your beach gear - bikes, chairs, umbrellas, rafts, boogie boards, surf boards, fishing rods, etc. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are provided. Porch / Sun room Awnings - Providing additional privacy and afternoon shade. Hardwood Floors throughout the house. New for the 2008 Rental Season: Granite counter tops in kitchen & new Sun Room windows! Weekly Rentals are Friday to Friday, thus avoiding weekend traffic snarls! Maid service (at the conclusion of your visit) is included in the rental fee, as well as the Sussex Shores Beach Association Rental Assessment.
