This is a unique, very private, Colorado mountain home in spectacular Buena Vista. This beautiful home has all the amenities for a relaxing and fun vacation including 3 large, private decks for lounging in the sun, barbequeing or star-gazing; a big, passive solar family room with sofa sleeper, big chairs, TV and wonderful views; a full kitchen; reading area by the fireplace; down comforters & 100% cotton sheets on all beds for happy sleeping; king-sized bed in the master bedroom; gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and the golf course.
The Living and Dining areas are under a Vaulted Ceiling and seperated from the well-equipped kitchen by a 4 seat bar. The dining table seats 6. We provide many essentials that other vacation properties don't, such as coffee and tea, spices, foil, plastic wrap, garbage bags, dish, shower and laundry soap, paper towels, napkins and toilet paper. You shouldn't have to shop so much!
The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed, its own full bath and sliding glass doors to the West Deck. The second floor bedroom has two twin beds (which can be pushed together to make a king) and a bunk bed, as well as its own Large Balcony for beautiful sunset mountain views. A full bath is down the hall. The third bedroom is a private attic loft with a "secret" stairway which has a double bed, two big skylights and windows.
This home has a wonderful ambiance. There are plenty of places for people to spread out or come together. It's comfortable, warm and sunny, clean and nicely furnished. It is always a hit with our guests!
As the road sign states when you enter Chaffee County, "Now THIS is Colorado!" Enjoy.

Thanksgiving week $180/night. All Other Times $150/night with 3 night minimum.
2 night rental $170 (off season only). 5 night minimum @ Christmas.

We were living our dream when we bought this cool mountain house and stayed there until we received an opportunity to go overseas. We weren't sure where we would land when we came back to the USA, so we kept it! VRBO has worked out perfectly. We love this house and so does everyone who stays there. There's just something about it.....

The owners are very friendly and quick to respond. We had such a great time last year that we are going back! There was plenty of room for all 10 of us and the kids can't wait to get back to that "secret room!" They are so reasonably priced and offer so much more then the others, the listing is very accurate!

Buena Vista Home was just as described and more! Beautiful views, quiet but convenient location, clean and loaded with everything you might need. Comfy beds! The owner was quick to respond, friendly and helpful. We went to enjoy the colors of fall and got just that...it was gorgeous! We planned to drive to nearby towns, but enjoyed the home and Buena Vista so much, we stayed put. Kids had a blast playing outside and watching the deer visit . Great meals at Mothers, Eddyline and at home. We would definitely recommend to friends and even go back ourselves.

Wonderful, casual place. Relative solitude is a plus. Golf course right next to it adds to the ambience. Quiet place. GREAT MATTRESSES. All of us slept well. Location is ideal. 20 minutes to great hiking in the mountains to the west and a short drive to rafting. Will look nowhere else if I'm every in BV again

My friends and I just got back from a stay at this beautiful home in Buena Vista. The owners and manager were so easy to work with and accommodating. Communication was great and everything went so smoothly. We all loved the home. It has a pleasant charm and coziness to it and plenty of room to spread out. The home was far enough away from town to see tons of stars, but it's close to the downtown area for shopping, eating and night life. This is a perfect location for active people who like to hike. There's lots of 14ers within a 30 minute drive. It's also ideally located for rafters. We saw deer in the front and backyard - just like the picture!

We really enjoyed the home. Although there are other homes around, it felt very isolated. The location is great. It is close to town and easy to find, and a few miles from great hiking trails into the mountains. I also like the option of nightly rates vs a week-long rental. This was perfect for our two night visit for a rafting trip. The master bedroom was great, with its own bath. The upstairs had another bath and plenty of room for kids, along with a large, family room. There was a washer-dryer with supplies. The wireless worked fine, and there is a care taker on call if needed. There were also two great decks - the back gets lots of afternoon sun, so we stayed there in the morning and on the front deck in the late afternoon. All in all a great visit and I would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely weekend- allowing family to gather from different areas to celebrate together. The home is very comfortable- allowing plenty of room to play cards, use personal computer with good access, kitchen for preparing meals etc. The Cottonwood Hotsprings being 4 mi away allowed another nice activity that was enjoyed.. or Mt Princeton also close. Being on the golf course is another activity that was tempting to some... Easy access to owner or property manager for questions, etc. Think this is someplace we will try again....
