We stayed at the Riverhouse over Labor Day weekend. The house is very spacious and comfortable and worked out nicely for our group of 11. We especially enjoyed lounging out on the deck taking in the gorgeous scenery. We spent every night down at the firepit right next to the river. Some even went fishing or at least put their toes in the river. The hot tub was also a nice retreat on cool evenings. This is the perfect house for families or groups as there is plenty of room for sleeping and having your own space. It is easy access to Aspen- only a few minutes drive. We thought it was the ideal location especially since we went to the JazzFest in Snowmass- shuttles picked up in the lot less than a mile down the street. Our group is hoping to make our visit to Aspen a tradition and would definitely stay at Riverhouse again. (side note- we were a group of mostly couples, 30s-70s. But would also be a great house for kids/families)Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

Bill Tonight is our last night and I want you to know how easy this has been being here at your house. What a location! We loved the river sounds! Joe fished the Roaring Fork below the house several times, practicing for his 2 guided trips on the Frying Pan and the Roaring Fork. The fish below the house made themselves scarce, but Joe was as happy as a clam just being in gear and looking like a pro! He did catch a lot of fish on both his guided trips...rainbows, browns, cutthroat and even whitefish, he was thrilled! We walked the beautiful town of Aspen--a wonderful place for people watching from a sidewalk cafe, We went to the Music Festival, to the top of AjaxMountain for lunch and up to the top of Maroon Bells. We even made it to Restaurant 689 in Carbondale for a most delicious dinner. The chef Mark Fisher is the husband of a friend on mine. I hope you will enjoy spending your ITravex points on some wonderful location as we have just done at Riverhouse!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

About the owner: Riverhouse is only a place, made priceless by the memories of rich summers, fun winters and happy holidays with four generations of family and friends. We gather as often as we can to enjoy this blessing. Let us share our Riverhouse with you. Warmly, Bill & Terri Parsons
Why the Owner Chose Riverview:
Riverhouse exceeds our needs by allowing room for everyone to have their own space, ample outdoor spaces for children/grandchildren to play in safety. Easy access to world-class fishing on site and other summer watersports. We especially enjoy being in a more relaxed setting while having easy access to all the wonters of the Roaring Fork Valley with skiing, hiking, cycling, etc. only minutes away.
